My husband and I have almost no sex life. He got 'fixed' a year ago and I'm on Paxil. Both of us have very little sex drive. We do miss the intimacy though. A friend gave me a 100 mg. Viagra. Should we break it in half and go for it? What can we expect? We're both in good physical condition. Any advice?

Viagra helps a man when he is in the mood, it dosent necessarily get him in the mood, I dont know if it helps a woman or not

CJ's right - 90% of the arousal's in his head. Without that - the viagra's of little use. The pill does nothing for you, unless of course you consider the better time you'll have with him in the sack !

Actually, the jury's still out on viagra for women. The problem is coming up with a quantifiable for determining its efficacy. In other words, there is nothing measurable in the woman's anatomy comparable to the penis. Theoretically it should work in a similar manner for women. Give it a try

Paxil will effect your sex drive in a major way and mixing viagra could be dangerous. If you take the paxil for depression, ask your doctor if there is another anti-depressant you can try like Wellbutrin that has a less effect on your sex life. good luck

I dont recommend you taking, Paxil with Viagra... Talk to your doctor about Wellbutrin SR !!! Its seems like Wellbutrin SR doesnt cause no sexual drive !

My friends wife started taking Damiana . It,s the herb that is in most of the sexual herbal aids for women. It is alot cheaper if you buy the pure damiana from a health store than one of those sex pills.
My friend tells me his wife was not interested in sex at all. She was on it for 2 weeks before it kicked in and he swears it is definately working. I,m a little skeptical about herbal remedies but my friend says it works but maybe a placebo would have had the same effect. Good luck, PS if anyone else has any experiance with damiana let me know.
