I am curious if anyone here has ever had any adverse effects after long term use of creatine?
I used the product on and off for 4 years and then was on it for over a year straight. Two months after going off it cold turkey (and for good) I began to have mysterious chest pains, heart palpitations, abdominal pain, etc. All my chest and lung workups (X-ray, PFT, stress-echo) have come back normal but the symptoms persist a year after the fact.
I believe long term use of this supplement can severely knock your body chemistry out of whack and was wondering if anyone has had the same experience?

ouch.
Well, since your body makes creatine naturally, using it sustained for a long time probably cut off your body's natural production of it. All the literature about it says to cycle it on and off so you body will keep making it on its own.... sounds like your body may have shut down making creatine naturally...
not sure what else to tell ya
