Cut back on your salt and you will pee and sweat more. Drink lots of water.

I have the same problem. MY Doctors has me on Furosemide, I can gain 10 lbs of fluid in a day. My Doctor has done every test possible on me. I can't stand it. I don't know what to do. I hope you don't have the same problem. I cut salt out of my diet and i exercise all the time. I guess i will have to continue what i am doing and wish for the best. Good Luck and let me know how you are doing with this.

I understand that your body will naturally maintain water levels if it believes that you are in a 'drought' situation. You are in a very hot climate and your body may be tricked. When my wife was pregnant with our daughter, she swelled like a balloon in May and June. She could not fit into her shoes as a result...water retention. We consulted a naturalist that told us to DOUBLE her water intake. How could that work we asked? Suffice it to say that once her body was getting too much water her retention went down considerably. In about 2 weeks she was fitting into her shoes again, and water retention was gone in a month.
Try really increasing your water...sounds crazy but it works. Another thing....your water supply could be contaminated. Toronto chemically treated water did not help....we have an artesian well in King City...natural did the job!
