How old do people have to be to get over the counter drugs? I am concerned my 16 year old daughter might go out and buy some without my permission.

naw she will have no problem buying Xenadrin on her own! i'm only 15 and i went by myself to get some Hydroxycut! they are almost the same stuff! and plus she is a girl! so she will not have a problem pickin that up! me and my mom went to go buy some Xenadrin the other day but she found out it contains ephidrine so i told her to just let me get hydroxycut! so i got that instead! you should just let your daughter get Hydroxycut if she is going to get anything because it does work and it is safer then Xenadrin! so good luck on what ever you decide!

and look at xenadrine... n it'll show in the nutritional information square that it's NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE UNDER 18

yea i am 15 too but i'm about too turn 16 i've been takin hydroxycut for awhile now but i stopped for a period of time then got back on it now! i am 5'5 and weigh in at 165 but not all fat! i've been weight lifting for as long as i can remember! but hydroxycut really works! it helps get rid of the visible fat! but you have to put alittle effort into it as well! it is not a magic pill alittle cardio wouldn't kill you! so 20-30 minutes of cardio would be good! and remember drink LOTS LOTS OF WATER while takin hydroxycut! try to make it a habit! and start alittle diet! also! the results will be amazing! Good luck!

hydroxycut also contains ephedra, even though each capsule contains less than Xenadrine, you are supposed to take a lot more pills than if you were taking Xenadrine.
If you would compare the ingredients you would find they are just about the same.

n listen, i serious don't have time for cardio or anything in my life..
SO busy...
I've got football practise, dance class, dance practise, kickboxing, i work on the school newspaper, i m a class b swimmer on the school swim team, n i m on the debate team.. n i m thinking of doing yoga n tae bo...
then i've got h.w n chores n stuff...
N i just landed a part time secretary job!
(there's where I m now.. i m suppose 2 b typing out order forms, but oh, well)
so does this hydroxcut stuff have side effects?
is it expensive?

now I'm curious about this, I'm excercising regularly and eating healthy but I could really use a boost.

Hmmm well i would go with hydroxycut! but then i again i never tried Xenadrine so i wouldn't know too much about that! but for me hydroxycut does the job! and plus it comes in different size bottle you can start off with a 80 capsule bottle for your first try to see how you do with it! but with Xenadrine i don't think you can get it like that! it only comes in 1 size and that's 120 capsule bottle! i'm in my first week of hydroxycut but as time passes i'll keep you updated on how i'm doin with it! the side effects are minimal if you FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! you will not have any side effects expect for weight loss! so good luck!
oh and rachael it really don't matter if you do cardio while takin hydroxycut! it sounds to me as if your already doing enough excersize!! good luck again!

Yea, I didn't want my daughter taking it because I've heard all the bad things about ephedra, but I read all the posts in the weight loss forum and it sounds like it's okay. If a 15 year old girl is taking hydroxycut then I'm sure if my daughter follows the directions it'll be ok. It's better under my supervision than her sneaking it behind my back. I want to lose weight too and I've hit a plateu and these pills are sounding more and more appealing everyday...

My daughter is 16, 5'3 and 150 lbs. She's lost 5 lbs since school has started and I'm really proud of her. I don't think she's fat,but she does. She thinks that being fat makes her less of a person and that's not true! I do encourage the whole family to excercise and eat healthy. I think it's fun to workout as a family, going on hikes and such. I love to cook and there are some really wonderful lowfat recipes. It's more of a lifestyle than a diet. I really am against fad diets, all they do is hurt you in the end and they're not healthy for my little girl. Well now that I've rambled on for quite a bit...I appreciate all your advice, thanks a bunch.
