Eat less carbohydrates and sugar stuff.I think what you are looking for is a magic bullet.Sorry they are not easy to come by.

There are a few things you can try
Niacin works well. Garlic ,fiber also help.guggulipids work but very expensive

I'll tell what works for me..

Lots of whole grain cereals, both the cold and hot kind. Eaten for breakfast (large bowl) and for an afternoon snack (large bowl).

I am also not starved at suppertime and so I eat a resonable portion of heart health foods.

And its really not expensive at all.

Whole grains.
Apple Cider Vinegar/w organic honey in water:every day

Vitamin E
Omega 3 oil caps
Flax Oil caps
Olive oil
Lots of seafood

Start jogging
