Hi, i was wondering if there are any dangers in taking excess amounts of vitamin B5. I'm talking about maybe 5-10 grams a day.

Hi Mike,
As you know it's a water soluble vitamin and pantothenic acid. It is the Anti-stress vitamin. It may cause a highly acidic stomach. I am interested in why you are taking such a high dose? Just curious.
God Bless---Harry

It's for acne. There's been a lot of talk of it on the Acne part of the message board. I thought i'd just come into this section and ask a fresh group of people. What effects does the high acidic stomach have? As long as it's not long term, i'm ok.
