I am confused about how many vitamins to take.I have heard that B & E are good for energy & anxiety but if I'm already taking a multi-vitamin is this enough. Will taking B & E separately make a difference? Thanks

I take a multivitamin that has additional C and E along with 100% of all the B vitamins.
C is good for stress, immune function and your adrenal glands, E is effective for your cardiovascular and immune system, and the B's are important for lots of functions including nervous system function (stress, anxiety).
What I do is take 500mg C and cut a B-50 (50mg/50mcg B vitamin tablet) in half and take one a day in addition to the multivitamin. After a few weeks you should notice a difference in your ability to handle stress. Good Luck.

It depends on what you are looking for and in what quantity. A good (really really good) COMPLETE multi vit/min supp will have pretty much everything...meaning A, all the B's, C, D, E, and maybe even K, plus most the minerals (chelated minerals are better). It is okay to take some extra individual supplements in addition to your multi even if your multi contains some of that already, BUT only if you think you need more of that particular vitamin or mineral. It all depends on the quantity you want to get from each vitamin and mineral. If your multi contains what you need, then there is no need to another individual supp. However, this usually isn't the case as no multi contains EXACTLY what we're looking for.
