I was taking B6 and now stopped My orthepidic (sp) Dr. that did my carpal tunnel surgery said to take it but I stopped after my surgery. I also suffer from tennis elbow symptons, I was wondering if anyone knows if this would help with that also? I have been going to physical therapy for my elbow and forget to ask Pat the therapist if I should continue. What does B6 do for you? any replies would be appriciated thanks

All B vitamins have tons of benefits--they are fundamental aids in immune response, mood stability, many skin problems, production/maintenance of red blood cells, mental process aid, cell respiration, metabolism of proteins/carbs/fats...

I take a B complex vitamin for energy and to help with my anemia...I can literally feel a mood shift if I forget to take it. Your doc probably recommended B6 for it's immune system benefits, but B vitamins absorb and act better if taken in a complex formula (all the B vitamins together).

Hey Tad-

Try out a "B-50" vitamin supplement in addition to your multivitamin. It contains 50mgs of most and 50mcgs of the less needed B's. They are better absorbed if taken in the same quantity. Personally, I break mine in half and take 25mgs/mcgs each day which is an optimal amount. I'm not so sure it'll help tennis elbow. I have tennis elbow myself and found therapy and massage to be of the greatest help. Vitamin C helps with ligaments and connective tissue. You might want to ask about that.

Hi strait thanks for the info I am going to therapy for my elbow and it sure does help I also wear a funky kind of brace. I will have to ask about the B's your talking about. They sound like a good idea. Thanks again

Hi Tad
I had tennis elbow and began using a natural supplement called Glucosamine with Chondroitin. Worked like a charm! :bouncing: You can pull up extensive amount of info on these supplements in the search engines. I know LOTS of people who take this and are enjoying tremendous relief.
