I take a B-50 and JMAR is right about increased energy, but I take them alone. What is the best things to add to them to possibly enhance them and me. I am a working mom of 2 and I am only 23. My 3 and 1 year old daughters take me for spin daily so I want to keep up and still have energy left for myself too. Any good multi vites out there or is it sometimes better to take certain ones seperately? I always think I am not really getting enough in a multi. Suggestions very welcome!!! Need lots of advice.

Marie,
As you know you can get blown away by the info about vits & minerals. A good multivit & mineral supplement is Twinlabs Daily Two without Iron. Take iron only if you need it.

Over the years I have taken many multi-vitamins some you have to take 6 daily. For what ever reason I could not take them because of side effects. I think the Twinlabs Vitamin is a pretty good complete supplement for the money. You can spent alot more and alot less for others and end up with poor results. As you may know You can buy vitamins online at good discounts. The Vitamin Shoppe and Vitacost have good selections and prices.

What ever you decide on---- buy the smallest size at first to see if they agree with you???

Well, funny thing, 2 days ago I forgot to take my B Comp. and wammo, I was floored yesterday. I could hardly keep my eyes open!! I even took a nap later in the day from being so tired. I took it again in the evening yesterday so today is a little better, but it is still obvious that my body is trying to regain itself. Imagine missing one vite for one day and it affecting you like that. Nuts. Well I will be much more vigilant now.

Hello L...

Yes, a highpotency high quality multivitamin/mineral twice daily is the first step. Next you should consider antioxidant nutrients like vit A, C, E, Selenium, Zinc. Your multi will have some of all these. It is always wise to take about 3 500mg vit C between meals daily.

As for a good natural energy enhancer, there are several herbs that work very well. The best way to supp herbal stimulant is to use a complex or combination. Use in moderation. Anouther nutrient that i don't see around much but is an excelent energy enhancer is DMG or Dimethylglycine. I have been using it for several yrs w/ much success and absolutely no bad side effects. It is a very healthy nutrient that can be used by the whole family, even your pets. I take 1-125mg DMG daily.
