Whenever I take a multivitamin, my urine gets pretty dark yellow. I have heard that this is because your body is getting rid of some of those vitamins. So supposedly some of the vitamins are either not absorbed or not needed. Does this mean I am not absorbing the vitamins I need? I hear a lot that vitamin pills are not absorbed very well. I don't really see the point of taking vitamins if they just flow out your urine. Can anyone help me? Thanks

When you pass off more B vitamins that you don't need, your urine will turn yellow. You only need a small amount of B-1 & B-2 like 2.5 mgms--- all over the amount your body doesn't need is passed off in your urine.
