I've heard this is good for palpitations and slows heart rate. Does anyone know of any side effects or adverse reactions with other medications such as beta blockers. I also take magnesium.

I have found that CoQ10 increases your energy level by helping to absorb Carbs and Fats. It is an anti-oxidant similar in action to Vitamin E. I don't think it will help with palpiations or a slow heart rate. But it just may help---I don't know. I take it daily because I can tell that it gives me more energy.
There are very few supplements that you can take that you can really notice a difference when you start or stop taking them??? Recently I ran out of CoQ10 and after only 2 days I could tell that I was more easily fatigued and lacked energy.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering because I'd been reading about it. I asked my DR about it because I'm on medication and wanted to make sure it was okay to take with my meds. He said no.
Truthfully, I don't need anything to increase my energy level. Thankfully the beta blocker doesn't tire me like it does alot of people.
If it increases energy level maybe my DR is afraid of it having the opposite effect of increasing adenalin which I sure don't need.

"I'm on medication and wanted to make sure it was okay to take with my meds. He said no."
No, not take it; or No, it won't interfere with meds???
Anyway, COQ10 is a coenzyme produced in the human body. If "any" medication poses bad interactions with human coenzymes, one could only remove the medicine in an attempt to prevent "interaction". Our body cannot live and funtion without enzymes and coenzymes. Supplementing or "boosting" coenzymes just helps the body where it may be lacking. People who are nutritionaly depraved, aging, or suffer accute or chronic illness, can enhance their body function with enzymes or coenzymes.
Tangle takes 30 mg w/ every meal.
