Yes, this is a sign that your eyes, finger nails and genitals will turn bright yellow in about a week or so. Just kidding! ;) Its totally normal and harmless if the yellow p is the only problem. Its caused by one of the B vitamins, cant remember which one. Best,

It's the excess B2 that's flushed out that makes the urine yellow.
But your fingers will still drop off, though, after two weeks not one <kidding>

"just kidding" means that we are not serious. We are creating a joke. So I hope we didn't confuse you. I'll try to make it simple:
Certain vitamins can make one's urine appear more yellow. As far as I know, this is normal and harmless. If you have any other symptoms besides the yellow color, I would suggest seeing a doctor.

To avoid this, keep the recommended daily allowance ("RDA") at 100% for all of the B vitamins. Your vitamin probably contains something like 500% to 1,000% of or more of the RDA of riboflavin (B-2). Your body gets rid of the excess in your urine. Unfortunately, it also rids itself of other B-vitamins along with it, creating a deficiency in certain B vitamins if your intake of the all of the B's are not balanced. Most "B-50s" or "B-100s" vitamin B supplements are not balanced.

When taking B's and C's, this is unavoidable. Your body takes what it needs and excretes the rest. These two are water soluble vitamins. Drink lots of water always, whether or not your on vitamins/minerals.

Vitrually everyone who takes even a daily multi-vitamin will have more yellow urine than before. It is totally normal and harmless. It is a sign that you are excreting the excess vitamins (the B vitamins are notorious for causing yellowing). There is no cause for concern.
The more water you drink, however, the less yellow the urine will be. Very yellow urine is also a sign of dehydration (absent vitamins). If you properly hydrate yourself, it will turn more clear.

When I take my vitamins my urine also becomes very yellow, I think this is normal. I do notice that the more water I drink, the less yellow it is.

I have always felt it important to take B complex vitamins, escpecially as you get older.
But, I am not convinced I need them every day, evidenced by the yellow excretions we have been talking about.
I take one vitamin two times per week.
