I was wondering the difference between folic acid and alpha lipoic acid? Which is better???

They are 2 totally different things. Folic acid is a B-vitamin that is essential for cell growth and reproduction. It is especially important for pregnant women to take due to the high incidence of birth defects without it.

Alpha Lipoic acid is a fatty acid and is important for the production of energy inside the cell. It also fights free radical damage, helps to prevent the potential damaging effects of physical stress, and is good for hypoglycemia and cataracts.
