Hi everyone,

I just got the shock of my life. Three days ago the blood test results came back with a B12 deficiency and since then I've been trying to do some reading up and to be honest I wouldn't have guessed by the symptoms (as I only have one of the many I've found ie fatigue)that that's what I had but you can't argue with lab results, can you? So my question is this:- can anyone recommend some website reading and if there's anyone else out there who had had this, how long did it take you to feel better??

Anything anyone can tell me to make me feel a bit more positive would reaaly helpful.

Many of our older residents at the nursing home I work with have a B-12 deficiency. With monthly B-12 injections most of them don't even remember that they have it.

Although I might feel like I'm in my dotage at the moment, my birth certificate confirms I am in fact 'only' 41 :D
I'm not a vegetarian either and I keep being told that its either a common or uncommon occurrance depending on who I'm talking to so I guess I was just looking for a level of comfort http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/tired.gif
