Hi..I am wondering if any of you know of GOOD suppliments to use for defination..Not THE big body builder stuff, just to be CUT UP..Ect? Defined..

ALso in relation to suppliments, IF you take a fat burning type of suppplment is it true that if you are LEAN this may kick your body to pull for more fat...As someone mentioned ..Eating at the tissues?

being a personal trainer , working at all the healthfood stores, taking almost every supplement. training amatuer bodybuilders...id say low body fat will show muscle defenition, meaning your diet is key. weight training will of course help, but diet is at least 80% of the game, if not more. there are supplements that may help, but without the diet, they are worthless. low weight doesnt mean low bodyfat either. just my two cents.

its hard to cut fat without burning some muscle, but you can do things to preserve muscle. keeping your protein high, and the amino acid L-glutamine can help.

Quick question. Would vitamin E help?

arginine/orthinine are amino acids, taken together before sleep "supposedly" acts as a growth hormone. l-cartinine )another amino acid) is supposed to help shuttle fat cells, to speed up fat loss. hydroxycut is a fat burner, they are only ephedra free now, and may help, its green tea, caffiene, l-cartinine, citrimax.

vitamin E is a good antioxidant. all of these wont really help with fat loss/muscle defenition.

i would say a diet of 50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat would help more. keep the sugar to a minimum. (or 40/30/30)

alpha lipoic acid taken with carb meals may help with glucose disposal, keeping the carbs from storing as fat. besides the ephedra products ive taken, i like the alpha lipoic acid with meals with carbs in it. weight training, cardio, and a solid consistent diet will be 80% or more of the equation.

How about CLA?(Tonalin) It helps define muscles and it decreases body fat, especially around the middle.
