I am on atkins and this is my fifth day and i dont feel bad but my body is kinda like "a ok" i guess its just from the adjusting my body has to do. Does anyone else get that and will it soon subside?

Hi,

Not really sure what you are feeling? Are you craving carbs? Do you feel light headed or something?

I know for me around the fourth day is when I started feeling alright. W/out cravings.

I am sorry I didnt really have an answer for you.

Are you sure you're eating enough? I know that sounds counter-productive, but food is what our bodies use for fuel and regardless of how overweight you are, you still need to provide your body with SOME nutrition.

Carbs are our bodies first choice for energy ... I would imagine that you will start to adjust within the two week induction period, but I'm not sure. If you don't start to feel better soon, you might want to consider a plan that is similar, but provides a few more carbohydrates. Or, try 40g instead of 20g.

Also, if you usually drink quite a bit of soda or diet soda and have had to cut that out, your body might be having withdrawls from the lack of caffeine. Again, you should adjust within a week or two.
