Ok---
How is everyone dealing with GIRL SCOUT COOKIE SEASON?????
My daughter sold them so of course we had to buy like---10 boxes and they are sitting here calling my name!!!!!
I've only been eating a couple---- but they are sooooooooooo yummy!!! hehehe!
Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

You are stonger than me- I would have already had
eaten every sigle one of them.. I think when we all get to heaven, they will hand GS cookies out as a reward as a job well done. That tells you how much I think of them. My husband ordered me several boxes of PB patties and just informed me Friday that they had come in and I said don't you dare bring them into this house. Give the girls the money and then eat them yourself or give them away!! I got in alot of trouble one year selling them myself. That would be a very humerous and long story. Let's just say I won the contest of selling the most and when it came time to deliver, there were no cookies left in certain flavors. I had already collected the money. I don't even want to tell you what happened next, but I think you get the general idea as to how much I love them.

I forgot about girl scout cookies!! I ordered about 6 boxes....haven't recieved them yet.
I do good with not eating the sweets, even tho that is my weakness! I had to endure countless hours of baking Christmas cookies and fudge this year for my family...not one lick did I take of the bowl, or one morsel of a crumb! They smelled SO good, but I wouldn't let myself get tempted. My family couldn't believe I wouldn't have a bite!
My biggest fear is one bite, I'm a gonner!! I can't have just one of anything, so I'm better off having nothing.

Would you believe I did not get hit up by any girl scouts this year? Sure, there were parents at work with order forms on their doors, but I refuse to buy something like that unless the little girl (or boy) comes up to me personally.
Just to add to the torture ... Edy's has new ice cream flavors. I saw them this morning... GS flavored ice cream. Limited time only.

my mother in law takes her oddles of boxes of GS cookies and freezes them, in the out side freezer. Which is a freezer out in the garage. I don't know if that helps you. I know I'd better eating the PB ones frozen. I 'd have to make my hubby hide them for me. Luckly... I didn't have anyone sell me any this year. Thank God! I have enough sweets close to me let alone these , just one won't hurt cookies! But who?? can eat just one??

I seen those Edy's GS Cookie ice creams too!!! The TAgalong one is SOOOOOOOOO Good!!!
I've been doing ok with them---it helps that I have 4 kids who will eat them--- but unfortunately i can't sit them down with all of the boxes and let them go to town!!!!! hehehe!
I'd bee dealing with a bunch of sick kids tomorrow!!!!!

You actually broke down and tried the ice cream, huh? I thought about it and decided I have vanilla ice cream at home and one flavor is enough. LOL. I love thin mints, and I think they're best frozen. The outside freezer thing would work in that I'd have to go outside to get my cookies and the garage would be too cold unless I was REALLY wanting some cookies. Haha.

Girl Scout cookies are the root of all evil. The kids are so adorable you can't help but buy a few boxes. I've gained 5 lbs from them...ugh... I haven't even eaten that many. One day I came home and was so hungry I ate like 8 tagalongs, my favorite. Maybe if I'd known then were 9 grams a fat for two I wouldn't have eaten any! My mother ordered some from her mother's neighborhood then a girl came to ours, thn my dad went and bought some at the store...when will the insanity end?
All I can say is I'm glad Lent starts on Wednesday. I've never given up anything before but this year it's all sweets. Everything! Of course, I say that now, but I'm sure going to try!
