I have been working out 5 days a week since the new year and I've lost 15 lbs. I still want to lose another 10 but the problem I'm having is that I'm not losing any body fat %. Will weight training make it easier to lose body fat % and still allow me to lose weight?

Yes.....the key is to not only continue to do the cardio activity to burn fat but to also add in weights to help maintain and help build more muscle...remember to keep your diet healthy as well..doesn't matter how much cardio you are doing if you are putting garbage in your mouth! Hope this helps some!!

I cut out any junk food and I watch fat and calories in what I eat. I eat little snacks throughout the day and small dinners. I still am at 20% body fat at 6'1" and 190 lbs. Should I lift with low weights and high reps or high weight and low reps to best burn the fat?

Are you a man? If you're a woman, your body fat % is already at the low-end. If you're a man, I don't know what the body fat range is .... Regardless, you are not at all heavy or fat.

If you're doing cardio to burn fat, then I vote for high weights, low reps. That way you don't have to spend hours and hours in the gym. Also, lift weights and THEN do cardio, if you're doing them on the same day at the same time. Or, do your cardio first thing in the morning and your weight training after work or whatever.

I'm a man. I'm not especially built and I know my weight is okay, but I want to lose a little more, but I really want to drop the fat. I work out first thing in the morning because I have a 1 yr old daughter and she pretty much eats up the after work time. I have been on the stepper and bike each morning. I don't want to build a whole lot of mucle until I have my body fat % down.

I think that if you change tactics and start lifting weights you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results. Because your body weight is in a "healthy range", your body is going to fight any further fat loss. You need to build some muscle to up your metabolism.
