first i tried one of the expensive brands that was advertising apple cider vinegar "plus" with a bunch of other crap in it- yeah, that got me NOWHERE. so i gave one of the $9.99 brands a shot (started about a week ago) and so far ive lost one pound but that could've been from anything =) i wish you luck and please let me know if the brand that you bought works!! ill keep you updated if i lose any more weight with the inexpensive brand. :)

I lost one lb per week doing the following once daily:
Mix 3 teaspoons of health food store apple cider vinegar in one big spoon of honey; add 3-4 oz of water. Drink fast since it tastes bad (to me). Heinz vinegar will Not work!

Hi, thank u for all of your replies. I have been taking the pills for about a week now and i do light excercise three times a week and so far i have lost 2 lbs this week. However, every once in a while i do drink some of the liquid form of ACV with honey. Good Luck to all of u trying to lose weight whether it is with ACV or not!!

My family has done that before, we had 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey to about 1 cup of grapefruit juice.

The grapefruit juice helps take some of the bad flavor away, and I believe it takes some part in weight loss.. so we would lose around 1-3 lbs per week. It also helps if you do some exersizing, whether its going on a walk everday, etc. Plus, eating right. But apple cider vinegar has been known to curb your appetite, so maybe thats why its such a good weight loss supplement?

I only drank the vinegar for 4 wks and lost 4lb. Without exercise so I guess I would have lost more had I used exercise too. I have been back on the mixture for 3 days; in fact, just drank a glass. I also have been cutting way down on meat. Last night I made 5 pork chops. He ate 2, I ate 1 and threw out the rest. I hate to do that but you can really lose weight not eating much meat. This morning he had 2 pancakes and I had cold cereal. It is so much more difficult to keep this up when you have a large, meat loving husband.

I tried it, didn't lose a thing. But within past year I've dropped 47 lbs by eating mostly lean meat, fruits and veggies and excercising 5x/wk. I am back in size 5 pants. Nothing comes easy. Hard work pays off. Most people who try those gimmics always stay overweight...but you look at people in shape who stay that way and you'll mostly always get an answer of eating healthy and excercise.

I agree w/wenron. To a point; and that point is genetics.
My best friend is 5' 170lb and she is a regular tap dancer. She's been dancing since age 5. She goes a couple times a week to various dancing classes and she can't lose weight. Just so happens her sister is 5',240lb and now uses a cane.
You got the genes? You got the fat. For me, exercise works great to lose weight. I don't Have fat genes. I'm just so darn far from a gym and I'm a computer addict.

You don't see too many fat people in poor countries. I am not saying we should starve ourselves, but I do find it interesting. I used to think I had the worst metabolism too, but when I cut out cheese, ate more fruits and veggies and upped my excercise, the weight fell off.
