i had a hugh question for all of you who read this site regularly, is i heard of this NYC product while i was talking to the representative for yohimburn and he suggested to use NYC as a fat burner instead of like xenodrine EFX, so what do you guys think of this product good and bads to it, and also any more news on the yohimburn? i'm currently waiting for mine, oh and for those who are using it, is using it on my triceps, abs, and inner thighs all at the same time too much usage? thanks guys!!

I'm also curious about NYC.

I'm thinking of getting it, but I want to know more first. They don't tell you that much about it at the site. As in, how well does it work and can it be used with a low carb diet?

Anyway, maybe Ikn4fit can give us some info?

sorry, I have been bulking so not visiting the "diet" pages.

NYC is good stuff. I dont personally like it as much as ECA (the pharma version not the herbal which I dont care for) but it is a much better appetite suppressant. It seems like women like it better from what I have read and the people I know.

I would assume that it works good, probably better with a low carb diet.

Thanks, Ikn4fit. I'm going to try the NYC with the Yohimburn DF. I'll keep everyone posted.

just wanted to add that my GF loves NYC and does not much care for EC. I think that part of the reason she likes it is that it suppresses appetite a lot.

Hey Ikn4fit,

I've been wondering about your GF and her success with Yohimburn. Mind if I ask some questions about what she did?
Here goes:

Was she on a diet or eating regularly?

How much did she use, how many times a day?

How were her sister's results?

I just got my Yohimburn DF a few days ago. Now my room smells very strongly of candy canes. No complaints here! I also got my NYC. I am going to start using them with a low carb diet tomorrow. We'll see what happens. Hope it helps.

Yeah, it says you can still use it when not exercising but it works a little better if you do. I don't, it's too cold and I'm a complete wimp. I'll let you know how it goes in a week or so.

Bump......

Ikn4fit are you around?

Why not a good ECA stack like Xenadrine and a transdermal yohimbine product like lipoderm?.

Stay on your regular schedule with the yohimburn (as a fat burner). You'll notice if you take it 30min before workout, your workout would be far more intense.

So are you using this too?

ravenna,

I think, actually really know, that while it will help without exercise. to get good results you have to do cardio or lift. I dont see how you cannot, both me and the girlfriend get decently hyped up from the yohimburn alone.

I dont think that there is a problem with using it on days off, I think that you should use less. I have spoken at length with the tech advisor, via email. He made it pretty clear that the greater the caloric deficit and activity level the more to use. the lower the activity level to use less.

if it does not keep you up, I have seen it reccomended to take before bed in lower doses because you are burning fat all night then. that might be an option for you ravenna.

For the people using the DF version of Yohimburn, have you noticed any water retention? I know it's not supposed to happen but I wasn't sure if the DF just reduced it or got rid of the water all together.

ok so to clearify what you just wrote, on days that i don't do so much cadio or even workout at all, to still use the yohimburn maybe like at night or something? and if that day i'm working out to use it more? or just use it? should i use it 30min. before working out and at night that same night?

i'm confused...please inform me....thanks guys!!

should there even be a weight change if you're losing this fat deposits or is it just in size that you can tell difference...?

It varies from person to person. For me it was greatly reduced, but there was still some. I have read posts by people saying that it eliminated it and some that say that it reduced it some, but that water faded much faster than with the original. I think that most people get at least some, though a lot less than with the original maybe not even noticeable. But I am not 100% on that.

OK that makes me feel better. I thought I was gaining weight or something. Thank you for responding Ikn4fit :)

liquistar,

I think that it is important to think of yohimburn as an "enabler" as opposed to a "fat burner". Though it definitely accellarates the process.

think of it this way, if you are doing the right things to lose wieght it will help you to lose fat in the stubborn areas, the areas where when you do things right, the fat still does not come off.

for instance, with my girl friend and her sister when they would diet down, they would lose fat from every but the hips and thighs. So they would get near flat chest and still have fat legs ( not really fat, but in relation to the rest of their bodies). With the addition of the yohimburn, and I highly reccomend the DF, the fat came off from the hips and thighs and in better proportion to upper body fat loss. So they lost the stubborn fat and still looked proportional, not skinny up top and thicker on hips and thighs.

does that make sense? it made sense to me but I wrote it :)

basically they had to get emaciated almost, not really but for descriptive purposes, up top to start to see even decent fat loss on the stubborn areas. WIth the yohimburn this was not the case anymore.

but the water retention can be annoying and girls seem to get more of it :(. Probably because they tend to have more of the Alpha 2 receptors (stubborn fat makers)

Hey, Ikn4fit...3...... :)

How's it going?

So what diet did your girlfriend and her sister use?

Not sure about her sister, I will ask. Girlfriend did not use a specific diet, she just increased her cardio a bit and watched her carbs and fat. So i guess she ate a moderate protein, moderate carb, low fat diet. She is not big on diets, she just increased activity and took a bit more care about what she ate and maybe watched the portions.

bump.

on the by and by- my wonderful bulking has almost come to an end :( will be rejoining you all on the dieting soon. good news is I have only put ona bit of fat, and not too much on the handles :), and a couple pounds of muscle :) :). I actually put on about 12lbs, but a lot of that is water from all the carbs and the higher sodium intake. Just a little about me :)

I think the girlfriend http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/love2.gif will be joining me, though she hardly needs too. She just wants to look "better" in her bikini. will try to get her to post, but she is not a big fan of the message boards. she had a couple of bad experiences , with the net you get a lot of nice people with a decent number of damn freaks.

ravenna,

how goes it? I am starting cutting tommorow :(. We are going to cabo in the beginning of april so need to "get the abs out". I actually only gained a little fat during my bulk-up so it should be not too bad. But I had a little ways to go before I was looking real cut anyways, put I did want to put some muscle on, which I did. So guess that its a small price to pay.

What exactly is NYC. I cannot find a place to buy it. I am getting ready to cut and usually use ECA but would like to try NYC.

I don't think they're available anymore...on the Yohimburn website they said that it was only available for a limited time, that was a while ago so I think maybe they stopped making them?

well today is the first real day of the diet, started sunday, but the 3rd day is always where it "feels" like dieting.

hope that everyone is well.

Hey ravenna,

How is it coming along? you said you were going to update and then??

Ravenna
03-12-2003, 02:56 PM
Sorry all. Been away for awhile.

Can't update yet because I am doing something pretty different from what I WAS going to do. Yohimburn and NYC will be one of the things I use, though.

I'll probably update middle of April. Hopefully with some fan - freakin' - tastic results. :)

cool. I will probably be in mexico then but hope it goes well. I am hitting it pretty hard right now. I am using the NYC, just because I really want the appetite suppression. I really prefer the EC but, its crunch time :)

Ravenna

I hear ya about crunch time. Hope Mexico is nice an warm! :)

lkn4fit3

mexico is a big motivator. the warm sunny beaches and the thought of the daytime and nightime debauchery is the reward that keeps me going. Plus want to look good on the beach for my girlfriend. Just a personal thing.

Though I still plan to try to eat decently and do some exercise. Though figure we will be dancing a lot at the clubs.
