Hi. I have been eaing pretty healthy off and on for a pretty long time. I just got back really serious 2 weeks ago. I weigh in every Monday. Well, as of this morning I have gained 2 lbs! And I'm bloated. It's really weird because I get really bloated and I don't know why! It's not PMS so I don't know what it is. Another thing is what I'm eating. I always have a slim fast breakfast bar in the morning with a glass of skim milk. Then I have a salad with light ranch dressing, little cheese, croutons, and bacon bits. I always drink water with my salad. I usually eat what I cook for my family for supper. But I never over eat. I do snack in between, but it's usually healthy snacks. Now I do eat fattening things every now and again, but I don't over do it. Like for example, I may eat one reece butter cup. Or maybe a cup cake. Or maybe a piece of cake. I drink water. Probably not enough, but I do drink it. My downfall is Pepsi One. I'm so addicted. They only have 1 calorie, but I know I need to slack off. Why am I not losing weight? I've lost weight in the past and it wasn't like this. I recently turned 30. Could it be my age? Could it by my thyroid. Please help!! Oh! And I do exercise. 30 minutes 5-6 days a week on my glider.
Thanks,

Just a guess but you could be gaining muscle mass since you do work out and not fat. I had the same problem and then noticed that I was toning up and still sliming down. Try measuring your bust waist hips and thighs instead of the scale. Good luck

Well if you're not eating too much and exercising, then the bloating is probably the result of something you're eating. Is there anything you've recently added to your diet? Also are you taking any supplements?

Yeah, I thought that could be it. That I'm just gaining muscle. Because I've noticed in my body appearance that I have lost. But it's just sooooo annoying when I step on the scale and not only have I not lost, but I've gained! But I'm going to stay positive and keep doing what I'm doing. No, I'm not taking any supplements. I am trying the peel away the pounds thing though. But I'm probably going to quit using it because it isn't doing a darn thing for me!

I read your post and had to respond. I am turng 30 this year and I put on 15lbs and was fatigued all the time. Well, I went to the doctor and he told me that all the birthdays ending in 0s are bad birthdays because your body will dramatically change. Having said that off I went to the gym.
Please try the FitDay website for one week. It is free and it is such an eye opener!!! What you do is input your food and activites and it does the rest. At the end of the week it will give you a report that tell you where your problem is. My problem is Carbs and Fat.
I went to GNC and am trying a product called Total Lean. I really like the product. On a day that I ate real healthy and exercised I lost 4lbs. On a day that I ate horribly and exercised I gained back 2lbs.
It is amazing how much research I have done over the last several weeks regarding weight loss. You think I was a woman possessed. I read in an article by Topica (Internet website) that you should not cheat as a reward for losing a pound or sticking to your diet. The reward is the results. Which really makes sense. I would reward myself for losing 4lbs and then set myself back 2lbs. I came to the realization today that it is so not worth it!!
I have rattled on long enough! God Luck!!

That is so weird you'd mention Fitday. I went to that web site for the first time this morning. It's really interesting and I think I will start using it. I think it would really help. I've got to be very careful about what I take because I have high blood pressure. What is in the product that you're taking? I really thought that me turning 30 would have an affect on my body and how I function. I've always heard that it does. Thanks so much for replying!
