I noticed a post from november that a bunch of people were starting the 3-day diet. I'm a writer for a national women's magazine and we are about to do a story on the 3 day diet and are looking for success stories--those who have lost weight and kept it off with this diet. you can email me if you fit this description. thanks!

Yes I was one of them. I do the 3 day diet when I am at a stall or when ever I want to lose 3-5 pounds in those days. Yes I have kept the weight off also but you can't eat whatever you want after your 3 day off also. LOL I wish you could LOL
I am thinking about doing it again Monday.

have you lost a grand total of a certain amount of weight from doing it or you just take off s few pounds every once in a while?

Well I just take off 3-4 pounds whenever but my Uncle lost 40 pounds off of it I think in about 3 months but he did gained his back. He's single and go out drinking all the time.
I would say that I would lose about 8-10 pounds a month if I stayed on it.

I lost about 30 pounds 2 years ago of course i gained it back but it was due to laziness not the 3 day diet not working LOL...it took about 3.5 months and i was also working out maily walking 1 hr. a day 3-4 days a week. On my off days from the diet i'd eat what i wanted just not much of it and then i'd do the diet during the week while i was working so i could lose sme weight every week. I really liked it and REALLY need to do it again!!!

I saw a variation of this 3-day diet in a women's magazine this month. I started it yesterday but have my doubts. My problem is that I don't like to eat dinner and often am not hungry for dinner since I workout at night.
Can I switch the dinner and lunch menus around? I would much rather have a big lunch and small dinner. Cottage cheese and 5 crackers are not doing it for me today, it is only 2:20 and I know I am going to be ripping into that fridge tonight, might even eat that chicken raw! If I have to eat as soon as I get home then chances are my workout will be forgotten.

A co-worker has lost almost 20 lbs doing that 3 day thing. I don't think I could ever do it because I hate most of the stuff that you have to eat. But it does work.
