I just finished eating strawberry shortcake! Although it was very good, I feel like I've completely ruined what I had going! I am trying to lose some of my body fat, and I've been trying to for a couple weeks now. Hoping I can at least lose some by the end of the month. But I feel terrible now!

Will it get out of my system if I exersize for 20-30 minutes and drink lots of water?

I am not sure if it will help but you can try.
But use that as your weekly treat and do not fret over it.It is ok to award yourself some type of goodie.Or have what I call my free day and you can eat what ever you like.I try not to go to far about it.Drink some water and enjoy what you just had.No use in going on a diet or whatever you may call it and get depressed over some thing like that, like I say I was over weight and depressed I be darn I will be on a diet and be depressed... :D

Good Luck
Now you have me wanting one.. :)
I havent had one in years.I hope I helped you some.

Have a good day
Dee

I don't know if you can compensate by extra-exercising, but the advice I would give you is to not let one minor slip-up throw you completely off course! Too many times I would splurge and then figure "Okay, I'll just start my diet again tomorrow (or Monday etc.)" Cheating is undeniably a part of dieting, you just have to try to be more careful in the future. Stay strong!

I agree with the others. Don't let it get you down. Listen, you will have days like this for the rest of your life. Day's where you eat a ton of food and think "boy I ate too much today". We don't gain weight by occasionally eating a lot of food. We gain by eating a lot of food more days than we don't. :)

I have a saying I like. "Failure isn't falling down.....it's never getting back up again". Don't let the one slip up ruin a new you. You're human and heck, strawberry shortcake is good stuff.

NO BIGGIE!! Don't worry about it at all. Just keep doing your diet after wards. Like southernmom says, we have to have a day off, at least once in a while, it's good to keep in mind that we can splurge once in a while, that way, we can follow our diets a lot easier. If we think that we will NEVER have that oh-so-good food, we're more likely to binge.

So, don't let it worry you, just enjoy it ever so often, and know that a little something like this will not hurt, but in fact it will help you, to keep being strong and losing weight!!!

A little trick I do when I wanna have that little "forbidden" food, I take a fat/carb blocker. And absolutley no harm done!!

So, don't feel guilty, ENJOY!!
