I just barely ordered my book on Friday, but I was hoping that someone could tell me about the 1st 14 days. I have been hearing alot about it, but I don't know what they consist of. Can anyone tell me?

Thanks Angel

Angel....check out the website. type Atkins Center into a search engine and his website will come up and it has absolutely EVERYTHING you need to know. It's like the entire book online.

Yeah, the website should help. Basically, the first 14 days you are only allowed 20 carbohydrates a day. You should not eat less (or more) according to the book.

I unfortunately could not stick to Atkins in the first two weeks. The first few days, I was loving it, eating bacon, egg and cheese omelets everyday for breakfast. But after about a week, I was CRAZILY CRAVING pasta, a whole loaf od bread, ANYTHING starchy, because my body had cleaned out the starches I had eaten before I started. I had no energy, because you get alot of energy from carbs. I also didnt lose 1 pound or inch while doing this, although mainly from the evil Depo-provera shot...but thats another story...Its comletey do-able, and will work, but the only is once you stop...you will agin all the weight back...AND THEN SOME!!! My friend went up to school weight 210. WHen I saw her next 2 months later, she was a size 9!!!!! However...she was home for 2 weeks, and laid off Atkins while she was home, and GAINED 15 POUNDS IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!...so if you plan on staying on atkins for the rest of your life, then go for it,....if not, I suggest you find another method...plus...high fat diets will catch up with you and your organs will pay the price...hope I helped a lil bit...let me know/...
