I have read several posts that mention pork rinds for snacks. I was wondering if you are eating the original flavor or the flavored ones (e.g. hot'n'spicy or BBQ). Is is alright to eat the flavored ones during the 14 days of induction?

Yeah, the BBQ ones aren't that bad. There's also a Hot N' Spicy variety too if you don't mind a little kick. Plain pork rhinds taste pretty nasty alone if you ask me, so definitely go for the flavored ones if you're looking for a snack. The flavoring doesn't add any additional carbs, but does had a much-needed burst of flavor! And yes, they are virtually carb-free (if not, VERY low-carb) so they are acceptable for induction.

I second everything maryjane just said. I got flavored ones cause I couldn't stand the flavor of the plain ones *yuck* They do have a few carbs in them compared to the plain ones with 0 but to me its well worth it. The carb count is very low though. For an entire gigantic bag, its like 2 grams of carbs in total, so not a big deal, especially since you probably won't be eating them all at once, but even if you do....not a big deal. I say, try em all but I definetely prefer the flavored ones! They're not that great, but they'll do when you really feel like chips.

I don't have a bag right here but I thought the favoried ones had sugar added, and sugar messes up the diet for me.
But
I like to use the plain ones like crackers
