View Full Version : Trim Spa to Hydroxycut / Ephedra Ban

I went to GNC today to get a new bottle of Trim Spa. The guy there said they would no longer be carrying any products with ephedra in it b/c there will be a ban on ephedra products from being sold. Therefore no more Trim Spa. So my questions are this:

1)Has anyone gone from using Trim Spa to Hydroxycut? Or at least used both? I loved Trim Spa b/c I had no jitters, no side effects, and it helped curb my appetite. Will Hydroxycut be the same or will it be more like Xenadrine (which I hate)

2)Has anyone heard about this upcoming ban? I heard it was going to be banned in one state but I didn't know it was going to be everywhere.

Thanks! :)

Oh, my GNC was having a 20%sale on all ephedra products to get rid of them. May want to check with your local store if you need to stock up.

Just wanted to let you know (I'm not sure if it applies to all GNC stores) but if you become a GNC Goldcard member; all your purchases that are made between the 1st and 7th of each month are 20% off!!! Probably just a gimick to get people in there on the beginning of the month; but if it gives me an extra 20% off of something I'd purchase anyway--I'm game!!!

Oh, and as far as stocking up on Ephedra products: I stated in an earlier post that I saw metabolife and Xenedrine in our local market (which carries scratch & dent stuff) for $1.65 for a full-sized bottle. And these weren't beyond expiration either. Maybe I should have bought them all; I may have just missed out on the investment of a lifetime; some people may pay big bucks to get their hands on them!!!LOL Just kidding; not like I'd really do that--I'd feel like a drug dealer or something!!LOL
