About a two months ago I purchaseed THE FIRM from Target for about 79.99. I can't express how glad I am that I made that purchase. I started out doing it about once per week. When I decided to really get serious about exercising, I do it 4 to 5 times per week. Let me just say that...MY CELLULITE IS ALMOST COMPLETELY GONE!! Who knew that it would disappear! I know it's not just me halucinating because my husband makes comments daily about how good my butt looks!!! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wow.gif I love it! I can't believe how these workouts are actually changing the shape of my body. A word of caution...the exercises are not easy. I had to work up to completing the whole tape. In the tapes (it comes with 3), you do so many lunges and squats it's no wonder they work! The instructors cue you in a timely fashion. Not to mention that they have great bodies and that's motivating. I would love to hear from anyone who's used THE FIRM and what they think about it. Good luck to all the losers!

I've been using The Firm as well, and it's just great! Although sometimes I have to kick my butt literally to complete the exercises, cause they're hard man! specially when you have to get up in the fanny lifter and you have to do it so many times, it just hurts! I have to say my body has changed a whole lot, you can see the definition on my shoulders, biceps, I just love showing my arms now. And the Ab work is great! I would recommend it to anyone, but warning you have to work your butt off.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or it's not been enough time?

I've been doing the firm for a little over a month now. On the rest days, I'm doing 45 min of cardio work.

I'm not seeing the great results you guys are mentioning here. Yes, I'm completing the tapes, so why aren't I seeing the great results you guys are?

I also bought the firm from target. I run on by tread mill six times a week for 30 to 40 mins. I want to incorprate the firm into this. i really like the body sculpt do you think i could just use this tape with my running and see good results. if so how many times.

thanks

Hi everyone, I also have the Firm and gave up on it.I got too frustrated trying to learn all the routines. Is there some trick to it-I can't seem to get it right. Any advise or help would be greatly appricated!!!

I just got the firm fanny lifter off e-bay, It should be here by the end of the week!! I hope to have good results with it.How hard are the routines? The fact that some of you are not doing so well with it makes me wonder how I'm gonna do. I already work out so I hope this helps.
Congrats to those of you who have seen results !!
I hope to see the same.

I don't think that the tapes are hard to use; in fact, they are pretty simple compared to most! The exercises are challenging though--especially the "step ups" on the fanny lifter. (I'm not sure what the technical name is!) I just started out doing fewer reps and worked up to the whole set. Or- use just the purple segment of the fanny lifter instead of the whole thing. I think it's a great workout; especially if you get bored with lifting free weights like I do!

I also do not find the routines difficult. In fact, to me, they seem easier than most step aerobic tapes I have.

I have been completing each video in it's entiretly. My question is, it's been about a month to a month and a half ....should I already be seeing the great results you guys are or should it take longer?

I'm not fat. I just need to tone up. Especially my butt ...I hate it !!

hi all,
i started the firm about 2 weeks ago, maybe less. i have done it about 10 times and i have noticed a difference! those leg presses kick my bum! i hold 8lb weights when i do them. it takes a lot of control and balance, as the form really does matter. the fanny lifter is perfect, i love the height of it. it is challenging. i haven't lifted weights in a very long time, a couple of years (i'm 26) and they incorporate weights into the routines perfectly. i have done tae-bo, which i find to be too hectic! the FIRM is challenging because it fatigues my muscles, but the moves themselves are not confusing. i am looking forward to more fanny lifting!

yay FIRM!

I have also seen encouraging results from the firm. I alternate the firm workouts with windsor pilates (also available at Target for $40). I bought my firm cd's at Walmart ($32 for the set of 3 but without the fanny lifter). I use my coffee table as my fanny lifter. It's a little bit higher (2" or so) than the actual fanny lifter but I can really feel the burn when I'm done with each step up segment. The commercial is true when it says "visible results within 10 workouts". I actually could see results after 6 or 7 workouts. I'm not heavy...just flabby. (5'2" 115lb)But not for long.
