My boyfriend has been really supportive of my efforts to lose weight, and we've been trying to do more active things together. Tonight, we plan on taking a walk around our campus. Romantic and good for us http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/love2.gif.

The problem is that we won't be getting together until later in the evening, so he wants us to order something or grab some fast food. We've already been to Subway once this week, so that's out of the question. What do you order when you're eating fast food that tastes good and doesn't ruin your diet?

Thanks!

Hi BlueAngel!

If I were you, I would eat something healthy before seeing your boyfriend, and then just get a salad or something when you're with him. Then even if you got something less healthy, you wouldn't be hungry to eat very much of it.

Or better yet, since your boyfriend knows about and supports your weightloss efforts, why not suggest getting food from someplace healthier than your average fast food joint? Or pack a picnic to eat by the moonlight?

Have a fantastic time!

In my oppinion, go to some type of buffet. They always have baked chicken and salad bars. I never overeat at a buffet, I always end up eating very healthy. Good luck!

Well, it didn't go quite so well....

My roommate was having a horrible day, and she had a craving for Mexican, so we ended up taking her to the local El Rancherito to cheer her up. We ordered the healthiest looking dish on the menu, but healthy it was not. I didn't eat much of it, but I would be scared to know how many calories were in it!!!

If that weren't bad enough, we picked up a 6-pack of Smirnoff Ice, and I managed to drink 3 of them! It was a weight-loss nightmare.

But that's ok. I'll just pick right back up and keep going. Everyone needs to have a splurge night every now and then. Just not one like that!

Thanks, Princess. :)

I feel so good right now, because I think slacking off a little yesterday made me work so much harder today to make up for it. I went running, which I know I never would have done on a Sunday morning without that guilt! It's a shame that the calories I burnt were making up for last night instead of ones stored up already in my thighs, but I guess that's a lesson to remember next time!
