I have heard that calipers are the best method of measurement of body fat. I had mine done with calipers this past weekend by a certified personal trainer. My question is this: from where on the body should the measurements be taken? Mine came from 1)back of upper arm, 2) hip, and 3) front of thigh.
I am questioning this because my percentage was pretty good, but these are not "problem areas" for me. In other words, if she had measured at my belly, I think it would have been through the roof!!
Any input is appreciated. Thanks!!

From what I understand, more measurement sites yield more accurate results. You also get better accuracy if you have the same person measure you several times over a given period.
Calipers in general are an OK method. Most all of the BF measurement systems have limitations of one sort or another.
