Don't grab a snickers! Get the ice! ;)

When I get the hungry feeling I take a small cup and fill it with crushed ice from my freezer. It helps me, maybe it will help you, and you're also getting more water in your diet!

Great idea except ice is horrible for your teeth and your body. Like it or not, warm or lukewarm water is way better for us than cold water which puts our bodies through shock. Too bad cold water tastes so much better!

Cold water/ice is good when it comes to weight loss though. Body tries hard to warm up the water so it burns calories doing it. I like the idea of crushed ice as something to attack when hunger strikes.

Other things are good too: Vegetables cut into long strips and dipping them into sour cream or yogurt. Cold, cooked, chicken. Hard boiled egg.

I'll try the ice-crush, thanks!

Another one of those issues that have "mixed" reviews. MANY doctors and weight loss clinics think it's BETTER to drink ice cold water ...that your body burns calories bringing the temp. down.

Do a search and you'll see.
