Hi,
Does anyone know what the long term effects are of ephedra? I took metabolite for about 18 months, lost 35 pounds, but continued to take it mostly for the energy. I quit taking it several months ago when the baseball player died from it. Up until then I was perfectly healthy--now I have problems with high blood pressure and high heart rate. Does anyone know anything at all about ephedra, and what it does to your body?

I was told today that ephedra will be banned by the FDA before years end and I know that they have pulled it from auction sites, but I am unsure of long term side effects from using it.

They have also taken a few of the diet pills off the shelves already. Xenadrine, Xtreme Lean, Hydoxycut.
They make all of those w/out ephedra...but Metabolife still has epehdra based products on the market..

I was watching the news channel and there are already lawsuits against some of those companys.

I just bought Xenadrine RFA on ebay for $50 lol...
Now im thinking twice about taking them after reading this.
ive been taking efx for 2 months, it worked at first but now i feel its not working.. it doesnt curb my apetite, it doesnt give me energy, and most likely im not losing any weight from it
Do you guys think i should take rfa? Ive had good luck with efx, hardly any side effects,
are efx and rfa THAT different?

I, for one, am absolutely dead set against ephedra... I think it is a dangerous drug with potentially deadly side effects and think that anyone taking it is playing with fire.
