I WAS a 6 cup a day coffee drinker and I also used that International Delight Coffee Creamer (it is soooo lucious!) I was sitting back enjoying a cup one morning and happened to catch a Dr. on The View. He said that by cutting your coffee intake and replacing it with tea, you could lose I think it was 8 lbs in 6 weeks, or something like that--it really caught my ears, but I missed out on the whole thing. Basically cutting coffee and I would lose weight?? That motivated me to start my weight loss last fall. For another thing the creamer I was using was so high in fat!!

I switched to tea (surprisingly not hard at all!) and I not only felt better, but had far more energy. Of course I also felt motivated to start eating better and exercising too. BUT!!! I went looking for an article that supported this Dr's claim and I found one and I think I have emailed it to everyone I know!

The link is http://chetday.com/nocoffee.html The article gives you an idea of how coffee actually affects you. When I drank it in the morning, I always skipped breakfast. By lunch I was starving and would pig out! By 2pm I was so tired I felt like napping. As soon as I stopped the coffee and started the rest of my new life I was a different person. I still have a cup every now and then, but tea with milk and a teaspoon of sugar hit the spot and still give you the caffeine. I tried green tea too, but YECH!! Just plain old black tea for me.

Anyway, let me know what you think????
