Hi all,
I have been reading lots and lots of posts about the great effectiveness of phentermine. To all that have had success with it, GREAT JOB and KEEP IT UP!!!!
My question to everyone is...isn't phentermine just an appetite suppresant? or does it do more.
I have about 50 more lbs to loose, I have lost 25 so far in the last 3-4 months, but I have hit a big plateau for the last month and am looking for an extra boost. I have increased my exersize and everything, but I can't get off this plateau. Eating is not my challenge though, I eat a strict 1200 calorie day of reasonably low carbs and low fat foods ( vege's, chicken and fish). So, if it is just an appetite suppresant I don't think it would help me much.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Phentermines pharmacologic activity is similar to the amphetamine class of drugs. Actions include central nervous system stimulation and elevation of blood pressure. Amphetamines also suppress appetite as does Phentermine.

Thank you for the prompt response. I looked it up online and mainly justh heard things about it being only an appetite suppresant. My doctor even told me that it is only that. I guess the other effects may be side affects that help promote weight loss as well.
