Fortunately I cut and pasted this ...I left the room just as soon as I sent the reply and when I came back it said i used tooooo many of those little smiley things! So I'll delete a few! That was this afternoon when I tried to send it....SO here it is again...better late than never! Obviously its night now...but..here goes....


Good afternoon to EVERYONE!

I'm glad to see everyone having a good weekend. DH just went to the store for wine to go with the DINNER that he is going to cook! :) He think's I'm working too hard and need to take a break.....my ribs are a little sore... BUT DH gets to vacuum . . LOL!! Enjoying every minute of it too! HA!! HA!!

AP congrt. on the -.6 - WTG you are making progress http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif Hopefully I'll be right behind you next week once I start exercising.

DPrin.... -.2 is better than +.2 !!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend...I feel the same as you do about the exercising. I know if I can get started back, I'll see the scales move at least a little !

Roni: laughing about your donut last night :nono: but I look at it this way..it was your reward for the hour drive to take DH clothes...and the the hour back home! But you were lucky, there could have been a box of Krispy Kremes...and oh what company they could have been on the way back home! LOL Enjoy your weekend.

Today's diet went well. No sweets(yet). I have a really bad sweet tooth...as you all can already tell. I used to be able to eat anything and never gain a pound. What happened :eek:! I think I am weighing myself too much on my new scale. It is saying I haven't lost anything tonight. Of course tomorrow morning will be less.

Whirl...Isn't it nice when the DH does the cooking and cleaning? No kidding about the Krispy Kremes. I am glad it was just one. I savored (sp) every bit of cal,carbs, and fat in that treat. :D

Okay everybody...what is it about pizza and beer??? Why is it sooooo good together? I love it! Is it just a southern thang or does everybody eat it? Please let me know if you eat and drink it. Thanks! :)

hi everyone! Sorry I havent been able to check in till just now. I have been sooo busy! we decided to paint my daughters room! We rent this house but they have to paint it when we move anyway. We have lived he almost 4 years and the walls are a yucky offwhite/beige color and since it has been 4 years they are dirty etc. SO we painted it a blue color..actually it turns out to be blue with just a shade of purple in it. It is nice. We just bought her a denim duvet for her bed. She is starting middle school this year so we are qrowing up her room a bit! She decided she didnt want her barbie stuff in her room any more so we put that away in the garage and we threw a bunch of other things away! I always like throwing things away! they is something very cathartic about it!!
I have been very good! this is day 6 (end of) last night we went to a chinese buffet and instead of what i normally get I did the mongolian BBQ where they cook your meat and vegetables but you get to pick out what you want..so I have beef with bean sprouts, grn peppers, water chestnuts and broccoli..all the low carb veggies and then I just put seseme oil on it. It was kind of bland but I could not remember if soy sauce had carbs or not so i didnt want to take the chance...LOL! I found out when i got home there is none..oh well maybe next time!! I know the sodium is bad in it anyway!
This morning for breakfast I have eggs benedict, with out the english muffin and I just made sure to measure the sauce. I dont use much anyway..2 Tbls = 1 carb!
I am glad i am starting to figure things out it just means that hopefully i will be on this a while. I just keep forgetting about condiments!! I was having a turkey slice and provolone rolled up together and thinking it was okay but bland..then http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/idea.gif MUSTARD!
I dipped the roll in the mustard and it was great!! I didnt miss the bread and it was like eating a sandwich! If I had only thought of this before! oh well!

I am rambling but i had some catching up to do!! since I have said alot already I will skip individual hi's for now.. so hi everybody! I hope all is well with you!! ((((everybody))))!

Hello everyone. My name's Sean. I've been in the eating disorders board for a few months, but I think this one's going to become the better fit for me at the moment.

From my peak of 230, I lost 31 pounds over 2 years working a job with lots of floor-walking in a department store, but now I'm REALLY ready to begin. I've done really well for the last two weeks, going on bike rides, tennis games, and yes, gasp, even jogs. I'm 5'9", and I'd like to reach 150, but I'd settle for 160-165 if nothing more comes off. In the last two weeks, I've dropped from 199 to 191, but 80% of that came off in week one. I know plateaus are normal, so that's why I only weigh myself on Sundays, to avoid disappointment.

Best wishes to all. I look forward to posting here more.

AP - I have a question...you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about suppliments.. I have a multivitamin with 30mg of q10 that says to take once a day, flax seed oil (1000mg) that contains omega 3 fatty acids that says to take 2x day, coq10 50mg, and now i just got carnitine 500mg that says to take 1 with a meal. my question is when should i be taking these? i was taking the muli and one flax oil after lunch and the q10 and another flax oil after dinner? is this okay? and where should i fit the carnitine in. i just took one with my lunch pills but wondered if that was a good idea. I do have calcium that i probably should be taking..I think you said that carnitine works with q10 and vit c..my multi has 100mg of c, do you think i am getting enough of these to help? you already know I am on atkins. Thanks!

well, i did WONDERFUl eating today..since i was sick in bed all day :( one plus to being sick right?! i had toast and a peice of chicken all day. :)

lol! im here snoopi!!! lets see. from what i read, all seems to be well except for the carnitine. id take 500mg 2x a day . u dont have to take it on empty. as far as the q10, 1 50mg is enough iof the multi has 30. as far as when, anytime u can take them is fine. does this help? Clearly from this post, I have colossal anger management issues. Sorry, but let's get real here.

I just went for half my jog, and because my asthma only gets out of control for a month and a half every year (late July - early September), I don't think to manage it the other ten and a half months. So now that my lungs sound like a 1942 Chevrolet, I walk 3 miles home at the end of a hard day, looking forward to venting here, and I remember...that's right, I don't have permission to swear here because we're in Grade 2.

I feel like breaking every inanimate object (not person!) in sight, and as though every mother-effing thing I've ever tried to do to make myself a better person is backfiring, but for the love of my neighbourly, ever-loving, board community (I do love you guys, by the way, I mean that), I WON'T BLEEPING SWEAR!

And somehow I'm actually not hungry. Me, an overeater. How is that possible?

seriously though, the stress may be keeping your appetite down. may i suggest beating the crap out of a heavy bag? it might help you channel some of that anger. I understand your need to vent...and we are here to listen....but i'm hearing that you need more than that right now....hang in there, tomorrow's another day :)

I don't want everyone to worry about me. Mostly, I'm so mild-mannered that anger is more pronounced on me. Last night, I psychoanalyzed myself a bit, and I think I know what I gain from anger, and how I can get it differently. (It's all cognitive-behavioural babble. It's not important.)
