My aunt is on it and has lost about 50 lbs or so, several pant sizes as well. It's just a pain b/c having to attend meetings/weigh-ins so I hear. I am not positive b/c I am not on it. But she had pretty good success on it.

One of the girls I work with uses WW and is slim. I don't know how much weight she lost.
My MIL kind of uses WW. She attended the first couple of meetings to get the materials that explain the POINTS system and then quit going. So, if you wanted to try the program without attending meetings, it is possible.

I don't know anything about the program, but those frozen dinners that they sell are amazing!

I lost 15 lbs on ww. I loved it. The meetings are like cheap therapy! :)
yea, I should edit this to say, if you like the meeting. I had to stop going to the meeting at a certain time, and have not been able to find one since, that I enjoyed.

Weight Watchers is the way to go. I went a couple of years back. I didn't care for the meetings so I quit. I started back just using the books and not going to the meetings. I lost 30 pounds in 12 weeks. I hit a plateau and quit for 2 months. I have started back and have lost 3 pounds this week. It is sooooo easy. Just be sure to keep a journal of your foods and points that you are eating. It helps more than you know. You will be surprised how much you are eating.

I give WW a thumbs up!! I went for about 7mos last year with a friend. We started in Nov 01 and she stopped going Jan 02. She'd lost about 25lbs. I continued until May and had lost 13lbs. I've gained back all but 5 of those 13 since. I'm pulling out my materials and getting back to the points system this week. I love the plan because you can eat, nothing is "off limits" as long as you count the points. I hate feeling like I have to give up something so WW fits my lifestyle and I don't feel deprived.

Hi,
I was on the program for about 5 weeks.. Had lost 12 lbs, then I totally went off and I am sure I have gained most of my weight back.. (Self- Sabotage behavior, I hate it !!!) but I am going to get back on and pick up the pieces again the program is very nice. You can eat anything. Moderation is the key and being a food addict that is hard, but it is very sensible and I hightly recomend this program...

I was on the ww program about 3 years ago and I lost about 65 pounds!!! It is a great program but the key is you have to stick with it (as with any program). To this day, I still use the point system to try and help my portion sizes, good luck!
