am a new user and am so excited to join this wonderfull place everyone is full of energy and so supporting i really love that!
and i would really like it if anyone has any advice for me cus my weight 220lbs and 5'6 and am so not happy with that anybody had the same experiance please tell me how to start lossing this weight.

Can you tell us what (if any) types of diets you've tried so far? And were you able to lose weight on any of them & keep it off? Do you do any exercising? If so, what do you do & how often? Sorry to ask so many questions, but the answers to these will help determine what type of advice people can give to you.
You're welcome to join the summer challenge threads if you'd like. The challenge is pretty simple: it runs through August 31, and you pick an amount of weight to try to lose by then. You choose your own method for losing that weight, too. Just check in daily (or as often as you can) to post your progress, problems, questions, etc. Andreaphilip starts a new thread every day - I think we're up to #64 today - so be sure to look for the latest one.

Hi Rose welcome to the board. A lot of us have started the atkins diet. Its really not that bad. I dont have a lot to lose maybe 20 lbs but so far I have lost 6 and thats with cheating.
There are a lot of posts on here for Atkins and a weekly weigh in for support. It helps a lot when other people are doing it.
You can buy the atkins book "Dr Atkins new diet revalation because it does work .
