Hi AP!!!!!

How are the braces coming along? Today seemed so long. At around 8am my two lovely daughters decided to sneak into the kitchen while mom and dad were sleeping. Well...they just managed to work together and pull the chocolate cake from the counter and commence to eating it. At some point they had a disagreement and the little one came crying to our room and I about nearly died. My husband watched them today while I went to town and he said they were climbing the walls. He had to take them outside for a little while. Now they are going through detox. I think we'll wait for the third another couple of years.-Roni http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif

Hi Roni! :D Good to see ya. How are you?

Andrea: yes you may ask. I'm 23. Um, I'd offer to surf through the past Summer threads to find the source of your discouragement, but that could take me a while. Do you mind if I ask you to repeat yourself? Can I help at all?

Well pretty good. It's later than I realised, but I can justify some of my net time as being useful because I'm apartment searching. It's actually kinda fun deciding what I want. It might get 1% scary when I start phoning people, but it's an adventure. Now as for the job...eek... :)

I might have to go jogging in the dark. Which I don't mind. No one's lookin' at you then.

Hey AP...I am doing fine. I feel better knowing that the old meds were the problem. Hopefully the new one will make a little difference. He told me to take vitamin B complex to help with everything including stress. I started taking Kelp but I read something about too much iodine was bad for you. I need to read up more on it. BBL- :)-Roni

sean: ok, i just wondered is all :) itsperfectly fine, i do understand. hmmm.... do you know what cerebral palsy is? are you familiar with ank;le foot orthodics?(AFO's) that is the source of my problem. i am 31 years old& was born with cerebral palsy& i use forearm crutches to walk as needed& the dr just gave me afo's& they are VERY difficult to manuever in& not very comfy. its very sweet of you to ask what you could do. you coul;d use an engine to learn what they are & what they do so when i talk about them youll understand. thanks again.

I am reasonably familiar (not in great depth) with all of the above. My mom works in a chiropractic office and I like to watch ER! :D If you're familiar with the show (I'm such an ER junkie), are the crutches similar to the kind Dr. Weaver has? The actress who plays her doesn't have to walk with them, so she must be making quite an adjustment too! I feel blessed to have no major health problems and to be 23. Ask me about my breathing after my jog tonight. LOL. It varies.

Is that possible that orthotics mold your feet like braces can mold your teeth? I had a retainer once, and after an adjustment, it would be very uncomfortable, but only for a few days because my teeth were changing. Maybe orthotics work on the same principle? And maybe if they don't, you can get another appointment. :) Be strong.

It has been pretty hot out here in SOCal the past couple of days! it should hopefully go back into the mid 80's! It was gettig pretty repetitive but I should have been happy with it but I complained and instead of the weather changing to the 70's we got the 90's!!! yikes!! I am glad we have a couple of room AC's! or I dont know what I would do!!!

Dinner has been in the slow cooker all day...i dumped almost 3 lbs of ribs with a bottle of BBQ sauce in there at 10:30 this morning! You can even smell it from outside the house! we are having those and a salad and some green beans...the only thing not too atkins is the BBQ sauce! oh i forgot though I bought a loaf of fresh made french bread at the store.it alsway smells so good!! I may have a small piece of it..not to sure!! hope you are all doing good this evening!! Shel - what happened to you? are you still doin it? Dix and houdini..hope to hear good reports in the morning!! take care! BBL!!

Hi AP. It sounds like you are having a tough time right now. I didn't know that you have CP. I haven't been able to keep up with the posts the last few days. I knew someone in HS with CP and she was so high spirited, even though she couldn't play any sports with the rest of the girls at Phys Ed. I hope that you are doing better.
I went to 2 bridal showers this weekend and so it was pretty busy for me. My anxiety was high especially afterwards. I was tired until yesterday around 12 noon. It took that long to get my strength back emotionally.
Hello to all of you. I haven't been able to keep up so hope that your doing well.
Roni- sorry to hear you damaged your car. Don't worry your not alone. There are alot of people out there who do things like that. We're only human. ;)
Take care, d :)

Yes AP, she did have braces on her legs, is that what you mean? She did ever since she was 2 years old and starting to walk. They tried earlier but she didn't seem to want to.
Take care, d :)
(time to watch some tv) American Juniors in on in a half hour. I watch it 3 hours later than you all do who are in NY.
