Hi everyone....I just wanted to share something...(you all are so great for encouragement, I love you all!) I just went shopping, on my lunch break at work, and ended up buying a skirt that is a SIZE 8! I know compared to a lot of you, that's not a big deal (with all the size 3's and 5's I see on here! Grr...hahaha) but I have never bought a size so small. It's loose, too, and is sitting on my hips, so I really think I could have gotten a 6. SIX!!?? My body doesn't know what a size 6 is. I'm serious! At the beginning of this year I was a size 16...18 if I wanted jeans to be comfortable. (which they just never were at that size.) Along with the skirt today I bought a pair of JEANS that were a size 10...SO CLOSE to the single digits...but they are also loose, so I am ENCOURAGED and MOTIVATED!
Please share all your success stories with me! it helps SO much to listen to all of your successes! I will be starting my new tae bo tapes tonight, too...will keep you posted on that!
Just wanted to share, guys, thanks for listening!! I must get back to work though!!!! Smiles and Hugs!!

Woohoooooo, that's great news! Doesn't it feel wonderful? Sounds like you & I are about the same size - I take an 8 usually (once in awhile a 10) but bought one pair of pants that were 5/6. What an awesome feeling! Congratulations!
:)

And thanks for sharing - your news is great inspiration for the rest of us!

Not Giving Up--

I'm curious to know which plan you are using. Also are you exercising? If so, how often? Thanks.

AFRICAN VIOLET: I'm not really on a "plan" exactly...I have been using Trimspa, though I've not taken any in awhile now...just keeping the calories down and doing a lot of excercising. Honestly that's all. When I seem to reach a plateau I totally cut out the carbs (rice and cous cous are my total weakness, i could eat them every day) and step up the excercise to every day instead of every other, and it seems to break the plateau pretty quickly. I also drink lots of water, everyone says that's a big help. Believe it or not, this board is also a big help!! Whenever I feel like cheating I turn this on and see how WELL everyone is always doing...makes me put down the doughnuts if ya know what I mean! haha Well anyways, I hope you're doing well, let me know what plan (if any!) you're on and how it's going!! Have a great night to you all!!

WAY TO GO!! That is awesome! I remember the feeling when I dropped down from double digits and it was a slice of heaven! Keep at it--the rewards are so great...

Hey RedSoxGirl...I was at a 16 on a good day not too long ago, and I know how GREAT I felt when I could go into a store and pick out 14's and know they were going to fit! I KNOW the feeling!! Today I went back to the store (Can't quit buying clothes now! haha) and bought a pair of size 8 jeans that I didn't try on....I thought i'd wait till i got home and try them on in private...to see how far I have to go to really be able to wear them, ya know? Well I'm wearing them right now, they fit great...do I dare say I wear a size 8???? I'm telling you, the funniest part is I always thought...WOW...if only i could put on a single digit size...I'd be so happy!! Now that I am wearing that size...I don't feel much different than when I wore a 14 or 16...I mean, i DO..I feel fantastic, believe me! But I mean that I don't feel really THIN...like, i still seriously want to lose 30 pounds...I just feel like I should feel like I'm THERE already. This makes NO sense so I"m gonna stop now....hahaha anyway, CONGRATS on the weight loss and the size 14's...you're doing GREAT!

Hey Curvy girls! You are all an inspiration. I'm supposedly a size 8 but because of my huge hips and fat butt I have to buy size 10 and 12 clothes. But hey , i figure forget the airbrushed twigs in the magazines, REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES!!!! Did you all know Marilyn Monroe was a size 14! We can look just as good just the way we are!! Keep up the good work... :)
