Good Morning guys, how's it going today??

Well 1 more down this morning. Total of 3.5 pounds.I am feeling good about it also.

Shel sweetie I am glad you lost some. You see you were stressed out for nothing. Good do the second day again. This might just help ya. We may all want to do that next week if you lose another 2 pounds. LOL (((Hugs))) to you and I am with ya.

So let me go eat my cheese and crackers. I love cheese and cracker. See ya'll later

I had the worst stomach ache, wonder if it's from the cottage cheese and ice cream last night. Some times Dairy doesn't agree with me.

You are doing awesome girlie :) Thanks for the support you give me, well, all of us :)

Good morning! Sounds like everyone is hanging in there! Glad to hear it. I'm down another 1 also, Dixie! That makes 4 for me. Don't know if it's water weight, but don't care right now! ;)

Had to make a substitution at breakfast today. My diet calls for cottage cheese, mixed fruit & grapefruit for day 3 b'fast. But I can't have grapefruit, so I had pineapple instead. And I have learned that cottage cheese just isn't for me, so I was going to have yogurt instead - but forgot to bring it to work with me, so I just had the mixed fruit & pineapple. Oh well, I didn't need the extra carbs in the yogurt anyway!

I'm supposed to have beets with dinner tonight. I've never had them, so I hope they don't gross me out - but I'm determined that I'm not going to make any more substitutions today. A little of that is ok, but I don't want to do it too much & possibly screw things up. Can't wait for dinner, though - I'm baking chicken breasts & seasoning them with lemon & pepper - yummy, I love them that way!

I did my FIRM body sculpt video last night plus a little time on my treadmill. Hopfully I'll find time for two workouts tonight also.

LosingIt, I just realized that if you start the 7-day next Monday, I won't be able to do it (at least not all of it) because I'm leaving for a 10-day vacation next Friday. Darn it! (Not that I don't wanna go on vacation! ;) )

If you do start Monday, I wish good luck to you & everyone who joins you!

If you have a chance, could you post the diet so I can look it over? I could try to squeeze it in before I leave for vacation & start either tomorrow or Friday, but I think I need a break from the 3-day before I start the 7-day, so I'll probably wait until after I'm home. Besides, I'm sure I'll need a strict diet after a 10 day vacation! :eek: Thank goodness I'm not going on a cruise - those all-inclusive deals would get me into SOOOO much trouble with my diet! ;)

UGH!! My stomach is acting up AGAIN. Monday I felt nauseated and today, well I'd rather not say, but it begins with 'D'. Maybe from the eggs? They do that to me sometimes. Or all the dairy. My stomach is odd that way, sometimes Dairy doesn't bother me at all, but other times, whoa!! I thought I had a version of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, ever since I had my daughter, so two years ago I started taking caltrate 600 plus twice a day and never had a problem unless I ate greasy foood or coleslaw, lol....I think I've been slacking on taking the calcium, so maybe that is it.

Whew, sucks to be at work with this problem! lol...

Hope everyone else is doing good!!

Well the Red Witchy Poo came visit me 2 weeks earlier then she was suppose too. I don't know why she came back this early. Does this mean I am gonna lose more weight? LOL

Yeah I know it's kinda funny. I just walk really quickly and humm. Good thing there aren't that many people that work there!! I ended up taking an Immodium A.D. I keep them with me at ALL times for occassions like this. But then it makes me not go for 2 or 3 days....

never ending battle!!

Dillon I bumped up the thread that has the 3 3-day diet plans on them. They are all a little different, but work the same way. Good luck and welcome to the healthboards :)

OK Dillonfish I didn't know what bumped mean too when I first came here. Bumped mean that someone has went back and found the topic you wanted.

Now if you want the 3 day diet just go and see the topic that says 3 day diet Friends. Shel bumped it up for you and so will I to make sure you see it. OK

Yeah, I'm feeling better. Immodium AD BABY!!! Now I won't go for a few days. I hate that. I guess it was the eggs, don't know what else it could have been, besides, whenever I eat eggs and get 'D', it has the same odor, LOL. I know it's gross, lol.

Thank goodness there is no eggs tomorrow. OH wait...there is for lunch right??

i'm new to this board and i've tried the 3 day diet before and it definitely works, i once lost 16 lbs in 2 weeks on it. so congrats on ur results!! but i have a question, i know what red witchy poo means, but what does AF stand for??? i don't mean to ask a silly question but i'm new to the lingo on this board. :)

I lost a total of 5 lbs on the 3-day diet! I'm now back at 143, the weight I was before my 2-week binge, thank goodness! Still haven't reached my ultimate goal of 135-140, but I'm so close! I'm sure that will not be true after my vacation, though! ;)

LosingIt: I'll be back on September 3. You don't have to wait for me, though! If others are anxious to try the 7-day, please go ahead without me. I'll wait and do it after I come home (first I'll have to look it over to make sure it's something I even want to do - if not, I might do the 3-day again). Congrats on the 2 lbs! I know it wasn't as much as you'd hoped for, but hey, at least you lost! I know what you mean about it going slower as you lose more. I haven't been able to get past 143, but I'm gonna keep trying!

Dixie, Shel, & Laxhoty, how did you all do? Hope I didn't miss anyone!

Wanna: If you do the 3-day one time, I don't think you could lose more than maybe 5-6 lbs maximum, depending on how overweight you are. But an old 3-day diet I had said to do it for the 3 days, then take 4 days off, then repeat. So if you kept doing this, you could probably lose a lot more, as long as you don't go crazy on your days off!

I'm not weighing in til tomorrow. But I bet I haven't lost anymore than those 2 lbs........

I need snacks, I will NOT be doing this diet again. I have to decide if I am going to do Atkins starting Monday, or limiting my calories to 900 a day. I NEED to lose at least 10 lbs by Sept. 13th........I also need to get my butt in gear and work out more. But it's been so hot and humid...

Houdini 5 pounds too. LOL CONGRATS girl. We both did it. And you did it with the steak diet. I am glad you did that diet cause I was wondering how much one could lose on that one. Was it hard to follow??

Losing It how much have you lost? 2 pounds right. How much weight do you need to lose? Sometime it slows down the closer you are to your goal. Wishing you Luck

WannaBeNormal hi I lose between 3-5 pounds on it. Never had a 10 pound lost but they claim you can. LOL I really don't think anyone can but who knows.

Some of us might be doing the 3 day diet again. Just check in during the week end. Seems like after 3 day people want to try something alittle different. But there is a good chance I will be doing the 3 day again.

Hi Dixie! No, it wasn't hard to follow - no harder than the other 3-day I did awhile ago. I wasn't hungry, but I sure missed my morning & afternoon snacks - the cravings were tough to deal with. But if I do a 3-day again, it will probably be this one. Congrats on the 5 you lost, too! Hope it turns out to be even more after AF leaves!

Although I'm not really interested in doing the 3 day diet, I would like to post to this thread because you all seem to be a fun group of ladies! Just a little about myself: I'm 30 years old, and I have a 10 year old son. I injured my back about 3 years ago and the weight piled on, and I ended up being heavier than I was at 9 month pregnant 10 years ago! It has been very depressing!
I started really working on my weight about 2 weeks ago, and I'm down from 173 to 169 as of Monday morning. I try not to weigh myself too often because my weight fluctuates too much. My goal is to weigh between 130 and 140 lbs. Your posts have been inspiring, and I wish you all luck!!

Hi KayJay! Welcome to the board! There are a lot of fun & knowledgeable people here, and tons of inspiration! Sorry to hear about your back injury. But glad to hear you're taking control now! I'll fill you in on some of the abbreviations:
SW = Starting weight
CW = Current weight
GW = Goal weight
HW = Highest weight
LW = Lowest weight
Hope this helps. You might want to consider joining one of the challenge threads. The summer challenge is a great one, although it's almost over. AP (AndreaPhilip) ran that one for us, and when it's over on 8/31 she's going to start a "Thanksgiving Challenge" that will run from 9/1 - Thanksgiving.

These challenges are simple - you just pick a goal you want to reach by the end of it, and you choose your own method for reaching it (type of diet, exercise, etc). AP will start a new thread about once a day, just look for the most recent one (she numbers them 1, 2, etc.). Go there and post your progress, updates, questions, problems, whatever! Or just pop in to say hello or share a story!

Hope to see you on the Thanksgiving Challenge! Congrats on the 4 lbs you've lost so far - you're off to a great start! BTW (by the way) - how tall are you? And what are you doing to lose the weight? My goal is about the same as yours - I'm shooting for 135-140.

Remember we had the same stats a couple of weeks ago before you started the 3 day diet? Well I'm down from 149 to 141. I'm doing the lemonade cleanse. September 22 family vacation to florida 10 more pounds to go and I'll be happy.

HEY EVERYONE - IM NEW HERE. I HAVE BEEN READING THIS THREAD FOR A WHILE NOW. I ORIGINALLY FOUND THIS THREAD BY LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ON TRIMBIA. I TRIED THAT FOR ABOUT 20 DAY AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I SENT IT BACK IN HOPES OF GETTING A REFUND LIKE THEY SAY BUT WHO KNOWS. ANYWAY THIS PAST MONDAY I STARTED THE 3 DAY DIET - IT IS GOING OK - A LITTLE HUNGER BETWEEN MEAL BUT I AM GOING TO MAKE IT. I WILL NOT WEIGH UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING. I WILL POST MY PROGRESS THEN.

I am wondering what everyone eats after the 3 day is done? I mean calorie wise? I am starting the 3-day tomorrow and I am scared that after I lose 2-5 lbs that i will eat somthing wrong and gain it all back. So any info would be helpful.

i try to eat sinilar stuff like, a protien and a carb, so cbasicallly i follow it but cheat with vegetables and fruits when i get hungry. :)

BACK ON THE 3 DAY DIET STARTING TODAY. IT WORKED FOR ME ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO BUT THEN I SKIPPED OUT LAST WEEK. I AM HOPING IT WILL LOSE MORE THAN FIVE THIS WEEK WHICH WAS WHAT IT WAS THE FIRST WEEK. I GAINED SOME WEIGHT BACK BUT AM STILL DOWN A FEW POUNDS. I JUST WAS NOT CAREFUL WHAT I ATE.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AND WILL POST WEIGHT LOSS ON THURSDAY.
