OK folks! Im back and reved up to go!! It the REAL no cheat-work your booty off week! We want to eat better than we ever have before, and want to work out better than ever too!! We can do it. I know I have to work extra hard on falling off this weekend! I hope to see all my pals back fresh and early tuesday morning!!

Welcome Back Amber,
It is so frusterating when you can't log in and see what's happening! I am in for no cheat week, I have been doing very well, exercising for an hour a day, eating very healthy ( I don't think my body knows whats happening ) and am determined to lose all of my weight by Christmas! I ate good until this evening. Chicken Fajita Pita and J in the B and it came with fries (I only had a few). and 2 bites of ice cream.

Not too bad.

I'm at a standstill :( I lost the 6 lbs and then ....NOTHING. I am being pretty good with Atkins, and except for one day I haven't cheated... so what gives? I was So pumped up and now I feel like what's the point if I am going to stay at this weight??? OK so I'm whining... I just feel really frustrated. :mad:

POOR CHIPPY :( Mine has slowed too, but AF was the reason (I think) Just keep it up and maybe add a LITTLE bit of carbs back and then take them back off again. Someone said this may mix things up a bit. ? Also, maybe try some different foods if you're eating the same things all the time. Add some more fat? I know that sounds silly :round: .

How long have you been stalled?

Are you exercising? Weights?

I'm just throwin stuff out there :D

Count me in. 3 miles per day walking and light weights at night.
no cheating until the weekend when I reward myself with a teeny, tiny piece of cake or something.

Me too! I'm in also! So far so good this week! Ate well yesterday and exercised for 20 minutes in AM and PM. And I did some step and abs this AM before work. Good luck all (I know I'll need it...i'm such a big cheater usually!)

I'm here, I'm here!!

I did okay yesterday (Monday). Great workout. Ate fairly good--I just ate bigger serving sizes at dinner.

Unfortunately I hurt my neck and was on the heating pad last night, so I didn't chance it by working out this morning and have school tonight but I'll still eat healthy.

I did step on the scale and it appears that I've lost about 2-3 pounds--not bad considering how I ate over the weekend. :nono:

Well I am still in shock, I only weigh myself once a week, and this morning............ I HAVE LOST 12 LBS.

Hello everyone! :wave:

I'm still in for the no cheat week! Unfortunately I cheated a tiny bit last night! I have a small peice of cake with frosting that I ate with my fingers. So it wasn't big. My mom made stew and I had second's soo I wasn't tooooo bad but I did cheat a lil.

I went to Jazzercise last night aswell and found out it was $85 for 8 weeks! Next week there closing the gym to re-do the floor and I'm going away for a week in November so it wouldn't have been worth it. I'll just start doing my Firm tapes again in place for Jazzercise.

Over the weekend I went from 136lbs. on Saturday to 139lbs. on Monday and I only had a small peice of cake after taking my Chitosan so that was sucky! :mad:

I didn't cheat at all today so I hope it stays that way when I get home from work!!!

Hi Chris,

It has been 15 days of eating right and walking 5 days a week. ( about 3 miles each day) I am just thrilled, I have been trying so hard and I am finally seeing results.YEAH!! Thanks for the encouragement!

WOOHOO, congrats on the weight loss to all who did...I confess! I cheated a lil last nite too..I was going to co to stonecold creamery and get cookie dough icecream, but I realized I was just hungry, so on the way I spotted a Thai Cafe...mmmmm! I had some pud thai (noodles) :(
Oh well..Today I did much better, so those of you who had a lil cheat accident..it's ok. :) We can start tomrrow!! Lets go FOLKS!! I wanna lose 12 pounds too..lol

Anyone want to do a double workout day tomorrow..thats where we go to the gym or workout at home or do what ever you do for excersize, twice in 1 day? I plan to workout around 11am at the gym, and then again in the evening around 5-take a walk up the hills for about 45 mins?? Any takers?

I'm totally in for that, that is if I can get my booty up at 5:30am to go running. I've been trying and trying but everytime the alarm goes off I turn it off at sleep until I really have to get up. I'll try my hardest tomorrow, but no promises! lol!!

Hello everyone!!
I just got back from the store. i bought some tonalin CLA, and some carb blockers. I also bought the dr phil book, and some of his shakes..I wanna do extra good tomorrow, so I had to stock up.. :) I also went by that new low carb store, they are opening on Thursday./.they are going to have LOW CARB ICECREAM (softserve!!!) its only got 1 carb per oz. The large has only 8 carbs!! Cool huh! Im so excited!! :)

I have just been sticking to a healthy meal plan - I am not counting fat or calories, I am just making better choices. I walk roughly 3 miles a day/5 days a week. I drink 10 bottles of water per day (500ml)I put 10 elastic bands on my water bottle every morning, and then as I finish the water I take 1 elaStic band off, then I know that I have drank what I needed to drink for the day. I switched from 1% milk TO skim. I am just trying to lose the weight the right way in order to keep it off. I also find that all of you are such a great support to me. I just want to be thinner, My goal is to be size 10 ( I am currently 16-18) and I do not like it! Sorry now I am rambling.I am giving this my all, I don;t take weekends off because with me it's all or nothing, and I will cheat bigtime and have to start over again. I hope everyone has a great day tommorow!!!!!!!

hay da rt~ We do a week of eating right and dont cheat on whatevr diet we are on. then we add a week of serious working out. its really good to jump start your weight loss..you just dedicate yourself completely for a week of pure weight loss..Its really good if you need a extra push in a week!! :)

Anyone is welcome to join us!! I HAVE to do another no cheat workout week next week because I missed a few days on here.. :( So anyone who also wants to try another week on Monday we can?
I am good to go for next week
another "go for the gusto" week..that one was pretty good..I think everyone lost some that week..except the sickies..(the ones with that cold)
So just do the best we can for the rest of the week..tomorrow is hump day so its halfway over..Just think how fast the time is going by!!
Good luck and we can keep it up! WE WILL BEAT THIS THING!! :)

Amberseattle: :O) Humpday is here! :O) I look at Wednesday the same way. Loved reading your upbeat messages. Same with Snowkitten, just wanted to say to you, I fluxuate my weight sometimes also and I think mine is salt intake. I really have to watch the processed foods. I have taken salt out of my diet (shaking salt on my food). I was fortunate enough to have annakay answer my reply about the 3 day diet and I am currently on day 2. I must admit it seems almost unreal you can loose 6 pounds in 3 days but I thought, what the heck. :O) I enjoy reading these posts as I get a lot of insite and encouragement from them.

Hi, sounds like you guys are doing great. Im trying . My scale says i gained a lb but I dont know how that could be. Im walking 3 mi per day and doing light weights at night. Im still on atkins but to tell you the truth I dont think Im eating right. I feel ok but this atkins diet it hard. been on it for over 2 months now and am stuck at 16 lbs loss. I hate scales.
well good luck to all and please tell me what you are eating to lose the 12 lbs.
