but im impressed that you walked! im in jersey too and its sooooo darn windy. you should have seen my 5 year old trying to walk to the bus stop! he told me to hold his hand so he wouldnt fly away! lol!

DP - that is soo cute!! 5 is such a greeat age!!!
my DD will be 11 in 3 weeks...she has her moments but its not quite the same!! i figure i got about 1 year left of "innocence" if you know what i mean...although her being in middle school i may not have my year!! DD told me that some boy asked her if she wears a bra because his mom says all girls wear bras!! aaaccckkk!!!
i dont want some 11yr old boy talking to my daughter about bras!!!

i checked under the bandages and they still look red and are still a bit sore so i will keep them on a bit longer! that lady got $2M from McD cant i get something from campbell's?? LOL!!! :D

shel - roflmao! about the biggest loser!!! i have cut back cals and am eating low fat foods and taking starch blockers - 1 or two depending on the amount of starch i think i am having. my cals i try to keep b/t 1100-1200. i dont know about fat..with the foods i am eating prob b/t 15-30?? i have been trying to walk more..i walked about 2 miles last night but i am not a big exerciser. just trying to be good everyday...my free days are every 3 weeks on the weekend and this i my weekend yeah!! will probably try not to go too crazy the last one slowed me down a bit even though i really wasnt that bad!! just gotta pay atten to water!!
been also taking cla, a multi and the past week or so i have been taking xenedrine efx...this s a bottle i bought a while ago and never used..i figured it will help or it wont but i am not going to rely on it!!

My DH, as you know is building the CAMPER of his childhood dreams! Well, he came in about 30 mins ago and said "Honey I have the door all up...screwed in, caulked, the glue is setting and I can't GET IT OPENED...I've tried the key and everything and I can't get it opened."...I KNOW my DH well and he is NOT mechanical.....thank God I AM! So he wanted me to go look at it....yes, he was right....LOCKED TIGHTER THAN A TICK....Sooooooooooooo....the only alternative is to UNSCREW every freakkkkkkiin screw - (thank god for elec. screw drivers) and take the door back off...well it was getting pretty set so we had to pry it off!! (i'm out there helping him laughing the whole time) . . he said "honey there is a time to laugh and this is not one of them" so I KNOW when to be quiet! So i'm laughing internally! So we get the door off.....low and behold he had installed it with the deadbolt that you lock the door from inside with ..LOCKED!!! No wonder the key wouldn't work! I have never laughed so hard...and
Speaking of DH . . STILL NO new car, truck or any other vehicle that he an drive to work on Monday?!?!?!?! If you guys only knew how much fun we really have everyday.....very rarely argue and SO FAR I'm biting my tongue on this car issue! BUT.....

My, you guys have been busy! I didn't have a chance to check in yesterday (computer problems) but the evening before that we were on TG #117--now we're up to 140??? Oh well, the world doesn't stop without me--LOL. I'm just glad we got the problem fixed; I missed you guys!!! I just put the baby down for a nap and thought I'd check in. I'm hoping this wind doesn't bring down any power lines................
Well, I haven't had a chance to get caught up on all the posts I missed; but I promise I will. Today & tonite are especially chaotic around here because I have kids until 6:30. Then it's off to choir practice with my girls and we usually don't get home until 8:30. Wednesday's are BUSY!!!!
Tomorrow I'm helping out at school and then hubby and I are going out for lunch. With him working second shift we don't get to eat meals together much. I wish the kids weren't in school so they could go too. He doesn't see them all week because he's sleeping when they get up for school and he's at work when they get home!
Snoopy: My daughter is 10 and I'm dreading her teen years! They seem to know so much at such a young age nowadays. Last year (4th grade) they already got to see the Menstration movie! I think I was like in 6th grade before I saw it. It was actually pretty funny (parents were invited--I went) because most of the girls were like ewwwwwwwwww and didn't even want to watch it. Then the school nurse asked if they had any questions...yeah, right!!! The movie began with "there are some exciting changes that are about to take place in your body". I say, ask them in 20 years or so how "exciting" it is!!!LOL Oh how fast our little girls (and boys) grow up!!!
AP: way to go on the walking girlfriend!!! That's great. How are you adjusting to your AFO's???
I guess i should go get caught up on the gazillion posts that I missed! Unitl then; I'm "lost in space".LOL I'll BBL!!

Jen, that is funny about the video. Is it the same exact one we had as kids? I remember the beginning starting out that way.
So we lost power at work. We all stood around talking for an hour and 10 minutes, and someone passed out banana bread :(. I had a slice. It was made in a mini loaf pan, does that count?? LOL. :(

Lisa, I went and bought some Blue Cheese dressing, has 1 carb, and some Ken's Steak House Light Paremesan, has 3 carbs. Think I'll have ANOTHER salad for dinner. I should after I had that bread :(
