I started taking 1000 mg when I hit my weight loss plateau. I think it helps me lose weight. The weight seems to be coming off faster than ever now. I busted through my plateau with a vengeance.

Good luck to you...

Carnitine is is supposed to help with fat loss, however it also can help build muscle too, so it may seem like you are not losing weight, because you're gaining muscle. The only side effect I have heard of is too much energy if you take too much, also it may make it difficult for you to fall asleep if you take it in the evening. You should start by taking 1000mg before breakfast, and increase it after a week or so. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I haven't seen any studies about any one taking too much, try visiting [url removed] you can get more information about carnitine that you have ever probally wanted.
