Hello to everyone . I know some of the basic rules of exercise and i also know you cannot spot reduce. I am 4'9'' and 125 lbs and am very bottom heavy. To paint a clear picture i am a size 4 on top and a size 9 on bottom. I am not expecting a miracle exercise or diet but would like some pointers on how i can do a complete body makeover.I have access to a stationary bike and thats about it. Does anyone know any affective exercises that i can do at home?
thanks angi

Walking is great, or how about some videos? Cardio exercise might help you out. Good luck!

You could do some squats, lunges, and chair step-ups to help tone you up. Donkey kicks are good too. It would be great if you could get your hands on some weights, but you'll get some effect even without them.

Hi angi,

I understand you way too well! I'm 5' and it sounds like our build is very similar. I weighed 132 at my heaviest and am now between 105 - 108. The largest size I ever was on top was a 4 and a petite 8 (and I mean non fitted with pleats) on the bottom. What really helped me was running. I didn't think I could do it, but I started at little bits and eventually started running every day for three miles. Walking is great too. I now walk more than I run, but nothing helps the bottom like running!

By the way, you don't want to do weights with the lower body or stairmaster or anything like that. People like us tend to bulk up with too much of that!

Cheers!
