I did a search and found a bunch of old threads on this subject. I started drinking the apple cider vinegar this morning and will continue before my meals.
Has anybody recently done this and what was your success?

My mother takes the pills and she has lost over 60 pounds. She also stopped eating sweets and potato's.
Good luck! :)
This is a short period also. Maybe 4 or 5 months if that much.

jojo, did your mom (or was it your MIL?) do anything else? I am just wondering how well the apple cider vinegar really works. And how much was she taking?

I found this information on it...
Apple Cider Vinegar
Use this diuretic in small quantities. You can add it to your salad as a dressing. What makes this such a powerful diuretic is this: It is made from apples and the malic acid in apples will create a fat burning process. Another factor with this vinegar is the fermentation process causes the vinegar to have constructive acids that join with alkaline elements and minerals in the body. This produces a cell scrubbing effect.
It also contains high levels of potassium, which has an antisceptic quality to that helps to eliminate fat deposits.
I have found a few different recipes for it, but for the most part, I think 8 oz. water, 1 TBS ACV and 1 TBS honey. I've been throwing in some cranberry juice just to help with the taste a bit. Drink about 15-30 minutes before your meal. There are tablets, too, but I guess the liquid form is supposed to be better.
I'll keep you informed of how well it works!! :)

I use organic apple cider vinegar with flaxseed oil for a salad dressing. It's yummy.

I tried it before and I got no results. But it did help my carple tunnle. I guess it kinda tenderizes your body, I guess thats why they use it in marinades. The best type to use is organic Apple cider that way you are getting the pure form of it and there is potasium in it too which helps you since it is a diruetic, Hope that helps. Good luck

I bought some of the capsules before but I couldn't stomach the bloody AWFUL odour.... I think I managed to use about 5 in total before I couldn't handle it anymore :( YUCK not my thing, but if it works... I know I have heard it is very good for your body, just in terms of health, but I can't get past that smell!!!
