Lately I've been experiencing some changes in my breast. I've read as much inof as I can about it beause it seems odd. Most of the pain i feel in in my left breast. But here's the odd thing. I can run up and down the stairs with no bra(no pain) i can lay on them when i go to sleep(no pain) when my bf and i are intimate(no pain). But every now and again i get shots of pain or if i press firmly in certaiin spots, especially under my breasts where the underwire of my bra would be. I'm currently on BCP's. And i've read and been told that the BCP's make your breast sore as if you were pregnant. But they arent tender or sore to the touch. its only every now and again that they are painful. the pain seemed to go away then i just got my period and the pain has resurfaced and worse, especially the left one and the pain travels down my arm a bit as well. So can anyone here shed some light on my situation i'm really confused.

You may want to check with your doctor, but depending on your age your breasts just may be changing and the tissue becoming "lumpy" can cause pain in itself. I wouldn't be concerned unless you find a lump (rarely, so I've read and been told) breast cancer doesn't necessarily cause pain.

Hormones are notorious to keep changing as we age and that as well could be causing pain as your body adjusts.

If you take your BCP's regularly I would doubt that pregnancy is the cause and as you have mentioned it's not that type of soreness, heaviness you feel like with PMS.

Wish you the best and God Bless let us know

We can't know the difference. Probably the best thing would be to ask your doctor. He/she will probably order a mammogram or something to check further. It may be that you have "fibrocystic breast disease", which is basically lumpy breasts and is worsened by caffeine intake and some other stuff. But until you know which lumps are "safe", it wouldn't hurt to check it out.
