About how much does a visit to the gyno cost?

Price will vary depending on location and lots of other factors. My question is why a GYNO and not your regular doc. Your regular doc can provide for all of your health care needs including you female health needs.

If you have insurance, the co-pay shouldn't be too much at all. My physician and gyno are in the same office so for me personally I get everything done at once for only $5.00.

i have to pay about $200 for a visit...i never heard of places doing it for so cheap...i'm still paying off last years pap.......argh....

Look in your phone book for womens health clinics and you will find them. Also instead of seeing a GYN for you exams if they are expensive why not let your regular doc handle ALL of your medical needs including your yearly physical/pap/pelvic exam.

I'm in the New York City suburbs, and thus the fees are relatively high, but visits to the gyno are $100. The initial one might have been more, I don't remember. Also, that is the negotiated insurance fee, so someone without insurance would probably be charged more.

i might look that up...i do go to my regular doc to get the checkups...kinda worried that i'll have to put off my pap because of how much it costs...what a pain...
