Vlasik 06-08-2003, 01:45 AM you primary care physician can prescribe them fot you and then you can buy it at any farmacy that has it. I take ortho-cyclen and it costs me $28USD per month. I don't know about that prices of other brands. Pandabaire3 06-08-2003, 07:35 AM Expect that you will have to pay for your pills out of your own pocket - I have never had an insurance company pay for mine which sucks. I've been on various formulations and they can cost anywhere from $25 to $32(Yasmin and Alesse). I'm currently on the generic form of a progestin only pill. The name is called Camila (it's the generic form of Nor DQ) and I pay $29.99 a month. normorcrazy 06-08-2003, 12:46 PM Physicians are not suppose to put you on the pill unless they do a pap first. If you have had one within the last year and you have the results you can show that to them and they will usually give you the prescription without an exam. As for the cost...with most generic brands it is $15-30, and for name brands it's $20-35.(Assuming you are in the US). |
