Good luck! I was on lupron twice for 3 monthes each time when I stopped them! Felt alot better!! :wave:

Hi Deb - were you on lupron for endo? what did you do for treatment after?
I have had 3 laps, been on just about every bc known to man, and now lupron. Nothing seems to work.

Hi all -
Went to my doc this morning. I am now officially OFF lupron, though it can take a couple of months to get my body back to normal. Yipee.
I am probably going to have a hysterectomy in August. Anyone had one? I'd like to know what to expect, how much care will I need from bf or mother, etc. Thanks in advance!!

I'm having a hysterectomy next month. I just can't imagine having the Lupron injections. I know that's what my doctor was shooting for but I don't have time for side effects. I told him I'll just do the hysterectomy and we'll go from there.

hey jessilyn68! I was on lupron for endometreosis too! I've had 21 surgeries for it and after they removed my right ovary last sept I've felt alot better! I took the pill (Mircette) to try and help after I went off the lupron but I was still going in for laps every 6-8 monthes. I didn't want to have a full hyst. cuz I would like to try and have a baby someday (if I ever find the right guy :() But for now I'm just trying to think positive and hopefully won't have to go back in for surgery any time soon! I opted not to try any of the other treatments only becuz I had so many hormonal issues while on lupron! It's been along road and I don't know how long it'll be before I'm doubling over in pain again! I wish you the best of luck!!
