There's another thread about this that has been very helpful for this kind of thing. Good luck :)

I had about 8 in six months, so I know how you feel. Eventually my dr took me off the bcp that I was on and put me on another and they disappeared. Also, I have a thread "yeast infection problem" where there are some good answers to how to fend off those nasty infections. Good luck to you.

Boy do I hear you. I've posted this in other places but really, really please, please look into the lubricant that you are using. I too had chronic yeast infections and couldn't get rid of them (tried so many different approaches) until I figured out it was in large part due to the glycerin in the lub I was using. Get rid of any lubricant that has glycerin (vegetable glycerin is ok - apparently it doesn't covert to sugar in the same way). You also want to avoid anything with parabens (methy, propyl or ethyl) which can mess with your hormones. I found a GREAT lube called O'My that has hemp seed oil and grapefruit seed oil which are both anti fungal. It has gotten rid of my yeast infections! It's hard to find (not widely distributed) but you can find it online or email me and I can tell you where to find it (hugger1011@hotmail.com)

this may seem to be a really dumb question, but what do you mean by "thread"? i am new to all of this.

This whole board is a forum.. . each individual topic, like this one, is a thread :)
