Resently I've joined a weight loss program. I used to by 300 pounds. I've lost some. When I was at the heaviest point I didn't have periods. Well, today I started again... by the way, I can't remember the last time I had my period. Is it possible for you to be obese and not have periods? Also, I'm having cramps in my lower abdominal area. Is this normal?

I think its possible. I know being underweight stops periods, so why wouldn't being overweight? I would get a good check-up by your doc to make sure everything is ok, though. I would think if you haven't had a period in several months, that might cause cramps, but again, call the doc.
And congrats on the weight loss.
